The Official Harry Potter fan club is all part of the Wizarding World website, which can be found at WizardingWorld.com. Fans will get, according to the website, “the inside scoop,” fan club events, secret codes, access to the Wizarding World app, and quizzes and polls. They will also get a Wizarding Passport that will show their “magical identity.”

This magical identity will include a fan’s Hogwarts house and Patronus. Fans will also get access to “news and features” from “an exclusive fanzine” known as Wizarding Weekly, which will appear every Wednesday in the Wizarding World app. Harry Potter fan club members will also get news “delivered straight to [their] inbox” with a Fan Club Newsletter. Fans will also take quizzes and polls, discover secret codes, and attend fan club events.

And all of this is, supposedly, for free. Sounds great! Sign us up.

What are the extra perks that come with the subscription service?

According to Forbes, there’s going to be a lot of them, including a special gift. Fans could and still can preorder the subscription service, known as Wizarding World Gold, online. This service is a way for fans to “enhance [their] official Harry Potter fan club experience.”

So let’s get into the perks. According to the Forbes article, perks include a personalized journal called Keys and Curios, “A postcard print of J.K. Rowling’s sketch of Hogwarts, [and] a collectible Enchanted Key emblem pin badge.” With Keys and Curios, fans will be able to have a journal personalized with their name and Hogwarts house “and [one that] gives access to exclusive monthly surprises to be unlocked on the Wizarding World App.”

Fans will also eventually be able to collect badges from other Wizarding World locations in the future to go along with their Enchanted Key emblem pin badge. The Wizarding World app will also give these special fans access to all 7 Harry Potter ebooks, so they will be able to take the magic wherever they go.

All of these perks and more will be enjoyed by Harry Potter fans who become Wizarding World Gold subscribers.

How can fans become subscribers?

Fans can currently preorder a subscription on the Wizarding World website here. Yet fans on a budget may want to proceed with caution. The subscription costs $74.99 per year. While it is a good price for all the perks that come with it, some fans may not be able to spare the money.

Don’t worry, though, we’re all fans here. And as we’ve mentioned before, the fan club is free to join. So while becoming a Wizarding World Gold subscriber does give fans extra perks if they can get them, every fan can still participate in the Harry Potter magic.
