Chrissy Teigen has made a name for herself as one of Hollywood’s funniest ladies. Whether she’s trolling the president or getting really real about pregnancy on Twitter, she comes off as a fresh, no-holds-barred personality.

She isn’t just a dynamic media personality, though – she’s also a woman who loves her family fiercely. And that often comes through online, when she shares pictures of what her life with husband John Legend is like behind the scenes.

Here are some of the cutest, funniest, and sweetest family photos Teigen has shared on Instagram so far.

1. Catching some Z’s

With enormously successful careers in more than one field, it’s obvious that Teigen and Legend spend a lot of time criss-crossing the globe. They don’t get much downtime. So, they have to savor every moment with each other, and their growing family.

On March 3, 2018, Teigen shared an adorable image of Legend and their daughter, Luna, sharing a very quiet moment together. Luna is asleep on Legend’s chest, and he also appears to be catching some shut-eye.

The caption read, “My babies are jetlagged.” And Teigen proved, with a single photo, that the family that naps together, stays together.

2. Why don’t you slide?

On Jan. 6, 2018, the model/TV host/writer shared a photo of herself and her daughter on a playground slide. But Teigen looks like she’s spending more time convincing her daughter to take the plunge.

Teigen’s caption, “weeeee are very skeptical of slides right now,” seems to hint that Luna may not have enjoyed the ride all that much. But at least they got in some solid mother-daughter bonding time in the process.

3. It’s a zoo out there

Teigen isn’t the only one that offers up great family photos online. Legend is a little less frequent in his social media sharing, but he’s still given us some truly adorable snaps.

Like this one, from June 7, 2017, which shows his family in the middle of a trip to the Lincoln Park Zoo. The caption, “Time for a zoo visit! #LunasFirstTour,” tells fans that the family snuck in some sightseeing while Legend was touring the country.

Luna seems a little more into her giraffe souvenir than the actual selfie, but it still makes for a perfect family snapshot.

4. A lot of holiday spirit

Families have all kinds of holiday traditions. And it looks like the Legend-Teigen fam’s may include matching outfits. On Jan. 3, 2018, Teigen shared an Instagram photo of herself, Legend, Luna, and her mom standing next to their huge, gorgeous Christmas tree.

All four are wearing matching candy cane pajamas. And somehow, they manage to make it look really good.

5. Wanna go for a ride?

Being a parent means busting out your silly side. And Teigen and Legend often prove they’re more than happy to do just that for their daughter.

On Oct. 17, 2017, she shared a photo of the trio at a farm. All three climbed aboard an oversized rocking horse. Teigen captioned the snap, “hay place. a place for hay.”

Everything about the picture is just a little bit ridiculous. But it’s clear that the family is having a lot of fun.

6. Father of the bride

Teigen loves to love on Legend and Luna. But she’s also got plenty of affection to share with her other family members.

On June 18, 2017, she commemorated Father’s Day by sharing a sweet throwback photo from her wedding. It shows her on her father’s arm on her wedding day, and includes a touching — and very Teigen-esque — tribute to him.

Teigen wrote, “Can’t forget the first important father in my life. The man who never stopped working to make sure we had the best life possible. I was so proud to hold your arm on this day and so proud to call you my dad every day. Love, your boogernose goober.”

7. Painting pumpkins

Teigen and Legend are obviously very creative. And if Teigen’s snap of Luna decorating a pumpkin is any indication, it seems they’ve passed that trait onto their daughter.

The Oct. 31, 2017 Instagram post shows a diapered Luna fully engrossed in painting a white pumpkin. And Teigen’s simple caption – “happy Halloween!” — makes it clear that the toddler is having a blast getting into the spooky spirit.

8. One year down

For Luna’s first birthday, Teigen commemorated her daughter the best way she knew how: with a fabulous photo shoot.

She shared an image of herself, Luna, and Legend wearing matching adorable smiles. Her caption honoring Luna was the icing on a sweet birthday moment.

Teigen said, “Happy first birthday Lu!!!! My lovebug. You are all the best parts of the both of us and I cannot believe how much has happened in you first 12 months of life. We love you to the luna and back.”

9. Mother of two (furbabies)

Fans of Teigen know that her dogs are every bit as much a part of her family as Legend and Luna. So the photo she shared on Feb. 14, 2016, of herself with her furbabies felt very real.

In the image, a pregnant and dolled up Teigen appears to conversing — or maybe scolding – her dog, Puddy, as he sits on the couch.

It’s a funny mix of glam and total normalcy — in other words, a perfect way to capture Teigen in a candid moment at home.

10. First family moment

Teigen has never been shy about sharing even the most intimate moments of her life with the world. And that was especially true with her Sep. 16, 2016 Instagram post.

The image she shared featured Legend and herself cradling a very newborn Luna to her chest. The smiles on the new parents’ faces tell us everything we need to know about how special that moment was for her family.
