Here’s Everything We Know About Reese Witherspoon’s New Home Organizing Series on Netflix

If Joanna Gaines and Marie Kondo taught us anything, it’s that there’s big money to be made in the home improvement world. We’ve come a long way from the boring, instructional books and shows of the previous era — now, it’s all about transforming cluttered closets into enviable dream spaces worthy of their own Instagram accounts.

And who better to do it than everyone’s favorite legal blonde, Reese Witherspoon? The Oscar-winning actress made a name for herself in movies, but in recent years she’s been branching out into new endeavors like her wildly popular book club and lifestyle brand Hello Sunshine. And now she’s ready to help you organize your house, too.

Reese Witherspoon teamed up with celebrity organizers for her new Netflix series

It doesn’t have a title yet, but there’s already a ton of buzz over Witherspoon’s new unscripted home improvement show. She’s serving as executive producer and teamed up with Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin, authors and owners of the Home Edit home organizing company. Another Joanna? Yes!

Fans might recognize The Home Edit from their extensive work with A-listers like Witherspoon. They’re the ones responsible for overhauling Khloe Kardashian’s fridge and pantry, plus have worked with other celebs including Mandy Moore, Gwyneth Paltrow, and of course Reese Witherspoon.

The series will transform messes into perfectly organized homes

The Home Edit team has delved into television projects before, working on a video-on-demand series called Master the Mess which is available on YouTube right now. It’s a good indicator of what the new show will be like, so check it out if you just can’t wait.

We know the new series will include eight hour-long episodes which each include two inspiring home organizing projects. Prepare your popcorn, because this is going to be good!

Reese Witherspoon is cultivating her lifestyle brand

These days it’s not enough to just be an actress — most Hollywood starlets have their sights on bigger prizes, like creating full-scale lifestyle brands. Reese Witherspoon is no exception. The 43-year-old mother of three is unstoppable after releasing the book Whiskey in a Teacup and the retail store Draper James.

Before long, she’ll be on par with the indisputable queen of home decorating Joanna Gaines. It makes total sense that these two women are friendly with one another.

The series is bound to be a hit

While firm details on the series are scant for now, it’s bound to resonate well with Netflix audiences. Tidying Up with Marie Kondo premiered on the network earlier this year and was a smashing success with viewers. Apparently, people find comfort in watching messes get cleaned up.

Some other unscripted series hits on Netflix include Queer Eye, Nailed It!, The Chef Show, Selling Sunset, The Final Table and Street Food, plus others. It’s clearly a format that’s working and that they’ll continue using.

Stay tuned for more on this exciting new series!
