Here’s How Taylor Swift May Have Hidden New Song in UPS Video

Taylor Swift just may be surprising fans yet again with a new, cleverly hidden song. Some are speculating the singer has sneaked her new single into a UPS commercial.

The clip announces Swift will be partnering with UPS to deliver orders of her new CD Reputation on the release date of Nov. 10. In the background, an unfamiliar tune can be heard with what sounds like Swift’s voice. One fan slowed it down, revealing what might be the lyrics, “Rip Off the Page.” Could this be the title to her next single? Take a listen, and be the judge:

Fans commented on the tweet, joining in the debate. Assuming it is the new single, some wondered whether all of Swift’s new songs would have the “electronic” type sound of the first two singles, “Look What You Made Me Do” and “Ready for It” Another speculated that instead of “rip off the page,” it sounded like “slip off the face” as in, “slip off the face of the earth.”

One fan tweeted approval of the possible new song:

Another voiced less approval:

No one knows (yet) for sure whether the commercial truly does feature a new Swift single. Time will only tell, as the singer continues to drop any tracks before the album officially releases. “Look What You Made Me Do” released on Aug. 27 while the MTV Video Music Award show was airing.

A week later, on Sept. 3, Swift released “Ready For It?” A snipped of this second single from her new album was also featured during the lead-in to ESPN’s Florida State v. Alabama college football game a few days prior its official release.

Swift has become known for surprising her fans and creating buzz. In the days leading up to the announcement of Reputation, she created a stir when she abruptly wiped her social media accounts and website clean, and then posted some seriously cryptic snake videos. The imagery ended up tying in with “Look What You Made Me Do.”

For the UPS partnership, the company’s trucks will feature images of Swift’s album cover on the side with the hashtag #TaylorSwiftDelivery.
