‘High School Musical’ Actress, Ashley Tisdale, Dishes on Disneyland’s VIP Treatment

Even Ashley Tisdale gets excited about Disneyland. During an interview at The Late Late Show with James Corden, the actress talked about the VIP perks she earned at Disney parks. (A subtle, but effective flex.) Here’s what we learned from the High School Musical star.

Ashley Tisdale worked on Disney Channel projects like ‘The Suite Life of Zack and Cody’ and ‘High School Musical’

This actress is known as Disney royalty, mostly for her work with their television network, Disney Channel. Ashley Tisdale portrayed Sharpay Evans in High School Musical, as well as the film’s two sequels. She also played a large role in the television series, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. There, she acted as the lovable and smart employee of the Tipon Hotel, Maddie Fitzpatrick. The character made a brief cameo on the series’ spin-off show, Suite Life on Deck.

But Ashley Tisdale’s involvement with Disney didn’t end there. She voiced the character Candace Flynn in the series Phineas and Ferb. Additionally, the actress voiced Camille Leon in the Kim Possible series and enjoyed her own Sharpay-centered movie, Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure. With so much involvement, Ashley Tisdale earned the star treatment at Disney resorts, including Disneyland in California.

As a ‘High School Musical’ actress, Ashley Tisdale got special treatment at the Disney Parks, including Disneyland

Thanks to an interview at The Late Late Show with James Corden, Ashley Tisdale elaborated on her time with Disney. When the host asked Tisdale if she earned the VIP treatment at Disney Parks, the actress was sure to flex her star power. In fact, Ashley Tisdale flexed her status by bringing boys on dates to Disneyland.

“I definitely did, I definitely did [visit the Disney parks]. When you work for Disney, you get, obviously, like, a VIP person to bring you to the front of the lines. You just feel, like, so cool,” Tisdale said. “It’s so funny because I actually would bring guys there that I dated to kind of, like, flex a little bit,” she said. “I’d be like, ‘I’m Disney royalty,’ and then I’d break up with them after the fireworks. It was always a good story.”

“I would experience that with them and it just so happened [that we broke up],” the actress continued. “I didn’t even notice I was doing it until my friend was like, ‘isn’t it so weird? You guys go to Disneyland then right after you guys ended up breaking up.'”

Sure, the happiest place on earth sounds like a great place for a date — or a breakup. Ashley Tisdale stated that when she would take people on dates, she believed Disneyland was the most impressive place she could take them. Ashley Tisdale laughed and said, “What’s so funny is, like, it wasn’t me trying to get into clubs and showing them how I get into clubs I was like, ‘I get into Disneyland.'”
