Villanelle is played by Jodie Comer, a British actress, whose work has made her successful in the U.K., but with the positive reactions to Killing Eve, she’s become famous in the U.S. too.

Comer’s character of Villanelle is a smart, psychotic, and fashionable assassin who is obsessed with Eve. Throughout Season 1, it becomes clear that she and Eve are obsessed with each other.
