How Did ‘Below Deck’ Crew Members Spend Christmas?
Like millions throughout the world, Below Deck crew members celebrated Christmas with family, friends and lots of fun. A number of Below Deck crew members from current and past seasons shared their holiday plans on Instagram, including one crew member, whose holiday didn’t start off on the right note.
He spent the day with his son, while his buddy went to the beach
Only days before Christmas, bosun Ross Inia had a confrontation with the law. He and Joao Franco from Below Deck Mediterranean were partying well into Saturday morning in West Palm Beach, Florida. However, a fun night on the town turned sour when Inia was arrested and jailed on a number of charges.
But by Christmas, Inia was home, sharing the day with his son, Kai. He wished his Instagram followers a Merry Christmas and shot a few adorable videos of his son dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow. Inia seemed in good spirits on his Instagram story as his son seemed very busy enjoying Christmas.
Meanwhile, Franco hit the beach with a female friend. “Christmas on the beach 🏖 😜 Merry Christmas to all!!❤️❤️ the best gift we could ask for- the present,” he wrote on Instagram.
They enjoyed family in England
Conrad Empson from Below Deck Mediterranean enjoyed family time in the U.K. He told his Instagram fans, “If you ever want to play a Christmas card game, I suggest you play this one. Probably going to break your family up.” Empson flashes a game, Bad People at the camera.
Meanwhile, also in England, second stew Josiah Carter hit the road for a “second Christmas.” He said on his Instagram story he was hitting the road for Manchester and wished everyone a Merry Christmas while he took a break to charge his car.
Also in England, Emily Warburton-Adams from Below Deck celebrated with family. Warburton-Adams recently asked for help transporting her gravely ill father from Malasia to England. She is seen on Instagram enjoying the day with family. “Merry Christmas lovelies !!🎄This morning I awoke and went for a crisp country run and I’m feeling very grateful for everything and everyone around me. I hope that you have the most wonderful few days. I don’t feel able to say much more right now but I will soon,” she wrote.
This is how the captains spent the day
Captain Sandy Yawn from Below Deck Med went for coffee with friends. On her newly reclaimed Instagram, she featured two other friends with the trio decked out in Santa hats. And wished her followers a Merry Christmas as the friends seemed in a fun mood.
Meanwhile, in Florida Captain Lee Rosbach tracked Santa on the radar. “ake the gain up to level 10, the Capt said. “We’ll be able to track Santa. From Capt Lee and Mary Anne, Merry Christmas and a Healthy, Happy and Prosperous New Year. Thank you all so very much,” he wrote on Instagram.
And showed off some gifts
In addition to showing his Instagram followers plenty of food porn, Chef Adam Glick from Below Deck Med showed off a crazy Christmas sweater. Deckhand Colin Macy-O’Toole, also from Below Deck Med said thank you Santa for the sweet Aldo shoes.
Laura Betancourt, new third stew on Below Deck showed off her great, great, grandmother’s bracelet and lots of Christmas snuggles. And bosun Nico Scholly shows off the family scene at home, followed by wearing a Grinch mask and “Merry Xmas you filthy animals.”
