How Did Khloe Kardashian Copy Her Sisters When It Came To Naming True?

Khloe Kardashian just celebrated her baby girl’s first birthday this past weekend and over the past year, many have been wondering how the reality star came up with the name True.

Though Kardashian thought long and hard on what to name her first child, the reality star knew that, just like her sisters, she wanted her baby’s name to be unique.

Not only did the reality star take after her sisters with the unique first name, she also did something unusual when it came to the rest of her daughter’s name.

True does not have a middle name

Everyone knows that the Kardashian-Jenner sisters come up with the most unique and unthought of names for their children.

The sisters have taken after each other not only with unexpected first names for their kids but also when it comes to middle names.

Kim Kardashian West first started the trend of not giving her children middle names then Kylie Jenner followed suit after giving birth to her daughter, Stormi.

It has been said that Khloe Kardashian copied her sisters by choosing to do the same thing once she gave birth to her daughter, True.

TMZ actually obtained a copy of True’s birth certificate which confirms that like her cousin’s North, Saint, Chicago, and Stormi, she does not have a middle name.

As it turns out, the Kardashian-Jenner sisters are actually working to trademark their kid’s names.

That could be the reason they decided to opt out of giving their children middle names so it’ll be harder for other people to try and use their names to make a profit.

Khloe wanted a name that resonated with her

Just like her sisters, Khloe Kardashian wanted a name for her daughter that resonated with her as well as her family.

Back when she was still pregnant with her daughter, Kardashian revealed that the name True was actually a suggestion made by her grandmother  Mary Jo “M.J.” Houghton.

“Picking a name for your child is really so tough!” Kardashian wrote on her app. “I knew I wanted my baby to have a ‘T’ initial, so one night while we were all at dinner, thinking of some names, my grandma MJ suggested True.”

Once Khloe Kardashian gave birth to True on April 12, 2018, many people wondered why the reality star decided to go with such a unique name?

Seeing as though the name “True” seemed ironic considering Tristan Thompson had been anything but faithful to Kardashian during her pregnancy.

It turns out, the name True has a long history in Kris Jenner’s family.

Shortly after Khloe gave birth to True, Jenner shared a post on Instagram that helped fans understand the history of the name.

Kris Jenner wrote, “I’m so excited to welcome my precious little granddaughter True!!! FUN FACT… my Grandfather’s name on my Dad’s side was True Otis Houghton….my Dad’s name was Robert True Houghton…so i am so excited Khloé named her daughter True!!!”

Though baby True’s name is ultra unique, it still fits her perfectly and we couldn’t image Khloe Kardashian naming her daughter anything different.
