The internet can’t seem to keep its cool after learning of Miley Cyrus and Kaitlynn Carter’s recent Italian getaway shortly after both of their relationships came to an end.
With Cyrus and Carter having recently called off their short-lived marriages, these two women know what the other is going through and are leaning on each other to get through their respective breakups.

As it turns out, Miley Cyrus and Kaitlynn Carter met through mutual friends—one of which included the singer’s older sister Brandi.
According to Refinery29, Brandi Cyrus had already known Kaitlynn Carter and recently co-hosted her podcast, Your Favorite Things, with The Hills: New Beginnings star.
Carter joined Cyrus in her Nashville, TN, home at the end of July to co-host an episode for the podcast, which Brandi usually does with former Bachelorette contestant and current Bachelor In Paradise bartender Wells Adams.
For the past few weeks, Brandi Cyrus and Kaitlynn Carter have been hanging out pretty frequently and their newfound friendship soon became a family affair.
By early August, Carter found herself establishing a friendship with Miley Cyrus and was even spotted amongst the singer’s group of friends as they cheered her on during the Sunny Hill Festival in Kosovo.
They both live in the same town
Not only was Brandi Cyrus the reason these two women were able to cross paths, but there is also the possibility that they knew each other before realizing they have mutual friends.
Since Miley Cyrus and Kaitlynn Carter both live in Malibu, many can assume that the two women might have crossed paths before.
Whether or not that is the case, Cyrus and Carter looked to have a solid relationship so far and are just living their best lives as they vacation in Lake Como, Italy.
Though their relationship blossomed rather quickly, a source close to the new besties revealed that their friendship pretty casual for now.
There are still some people who can’t help but wonder if Cyrus and Carter’s relationship is more than a friendship after they were spotted kissing and cuddling up to one another while on vacation.
While many would like to believe there to be a love connection between these two women, a source recently revealed to People that Cyrus and Carter are “just having fun” together.
Though Miley Cyrus has been open about her sexuality in the past, it seems as though she and Kaitlynn Carter are just friends and are helping each other get their minds off of their recent splits.
