One way the first lady stays in top form is by following a balanced diet. She makes sure to get a healthy dose of fruit. Melania told GQ she tries to eat seven pieces of fruit each day. She also drinks smoothies and plenty of water.
She allows herself to indulge—just a little
Since Melania is in such great shape, you might think she never has a sweet treat. However, she told Refinery29 she does allow herself to have something other than fruit every so often. “I don’t have a particular snack I always eat. If I would snack, I would snack on maybe fruit or a little bit of chocolate, because I think your body needs that, too,” she told the publication.
Melania says she doesn’t diet
You might wonder what type of diet Melania follows. Is it Weight Watchers? Is it Beachbody? According to her, dieting isn’t part of her daily life. Although Melania makes sure to eat well, she says she does not follow a diet. Instead, her focus is on eating food that makes her feel good. “It’s not a diet, I just like to eat healthy because I feel better and have more energy,” she told Refinery29.
She follows a strict skincare regimen
The first lady takes care of her body from the inside out. Melania takes skincare seriously. She makes sure to keep her skin youthful by keeping it moisturized. “When I wake up in the morning, I like to refresh myself and put some tonic on—one with vitamin C—and then an oxygen cream with vitamins A, C, and E. That’s very important to me so that my skin will stay moisturized throughout the day,” she told Allure.
Although it’s easy to hop into bed without taking off your makeup, this is a big no-no for Melania. She takes time to wash her face before going to sleep. “I never go to sleep before washing my makeup off and I really nurture my skin at night,” she said in her Allure interview.
Does Melania Trump exercise?
The first lady does exercise. Melania likes to practice Pilates, mostly because she can do it at home, reports E! News. The publication says she also used to walk around her home with ankle weights and liked to play tennis.
Did Melania Trump have plastic surgery?
Many speculate Melania got a little help from a plastic surgeon. However, she insists she did not go under the knife. She told GQ, people automatically assume she got work done on her face, but Melania says this isn’t true:
I didn’t make any changes. A lot of people say I am using all the procedures for my face. I didn’t do anything. I live a healthy life, I take care of my skin and my body. I’m against Botox, I’m against injections. I think it’s damaging your face, damaging your nerves. It’s all me. I will age gracefully, as my mom does.
