How Kate Middleton Is Acting More Like a Queen These Days

Kate Middleton has long been one of the public’s favorite members of the royal family. She has been involved with Prince William since the early 2000s, and now the pair have two young children together.

Although Duchess Kate’s schedule is busier than ever, she is still very beloved by the public and press and is continuously praised by fans for her sense of style, her effortless charm, and the sweet way that she interacts with people everywhere. Recently, royal fans are noticing an uptick in how the Duchess of Cambridge is preparing for the next stage in her life: to stand alongside Prince William as his queen consort when he assumes the throne.

While Middleton has been a member of the royal family since 2013, in recent years she has really begun stepping up her game in terms of royal duties. As Prince William steadily prepares to become king, so has his wife.

Earlier this year, Middleton made headlines as she stepped out with Queen Elizabeth on their first-ever solo outing. Their trip to honor the opening of Bush House was much-discussed by media outlets and looked at as a sign that the queen was grooming Middleton to eventually take over many of her duties.

People magazine recently reported that Middleton has “passion and purpose” as she continues to prepare for the huge responsibility of governing a kingdom and that she has been committing one hundred percent to every meeting and lecture that she attends. The duchess has shown a particular affinity for causes relating to women and children and has demonstrated a natural empathy for people that remind many of her late mother-in-law: Princess Diana.

People also reports that Middleton has been writing her own speeches, which is unusual for a high-profile royal family member.

Kate Middleton will make a great queen consort

When it comes to how well Middleton will handle the pressures of becoming queen, fans and royal sources seem united in the belief that Middleton will excel in the role. Sources claim that she has many qualities that make her perfect for such a challenging position, including the fact that she accepts constructive criticism and doesn’t have a superiority complex.

Over the years, Middleton has shown that she is laid-back, not getting bothered by much, and blessed with an easy charm that endears her to everyone she comes into contact with. Reports also state the Duchess of Cambridge is truly caring and brings a lot of her own natural ability to the training that she is currently undergoing.

In spite of the fact that both Duchess Kate and Prince William are going through serious preparations for the time when they do have to step up, it seems as though that momentous day won’t really be very soon. Prince Charles, Prince William’s father, is actually the next in line for the throne. And even though he will be the oldest monarch ever to assume the throne when he does become king, it is thought that he will rule for some time.

Some sources have speculated that Queen Elizabeth will skip over her eldest son and hand the throne to Prince William instead. But that isn’t based on any fact and seems to be a wild rumor at best.

Traditions are very important in the royal family and the line of succession isn’t something that Queen Elizabeth is likely to alter or adjust. It could be close to ten or fifteen years before Prince William and Middleton take the throne. In the meantime, they will continue to diligently prepare for when that day does arrive.
