How Kim Kardashian West Is Spending Her Coronavirus (COVID-19) Quarantine
The coronavirus (COVID-19) has each of us practicing social distancing and following stay-at-home orders. Like us, celebrities are doing their part to stop the spread of the coronavirus, including Kim Kardashian West and her husband, Kanye West.
Here’s how Kardashian West and her family, including Psalm, Saint, Chicago, and North have been spending their days in self-isolation.
Kim Kardashian West doesn’t mind quarantine
Celebrities like Katy Perry and Kardashian West seem to be enjoying their time in isolation. Considering what is usually a busy schedule packed with meetings and constant travel, Kardashian West is happy with the pause social distancing has put on her life.
“I actually love [this] time because we do travel so much in our regular world,” Kardashian West told The View. Having the time to bond with her husband and their four kids is what Kardashian West has appreciated the most and expressed how much she cherishes the change of pace.
Kardashian West also touched on the pop culture she’s introducing her children to during their quarantine. “We’ve watched every single movie you could possibly imagine. I’ve been showing the kids all these 80’s movies like Harry and the Hendersons — stuff that they wouldn’t [normally] watch that’s so much fun,” she explained.
Quarantine fun for mom and dad
Kardashian West and her rapper husband recently took a break from being indoors to take in some fresh air. Kardashian West shared a photo of her and her hubby sitting in an open-top off-roading vehicle on Instagram.
It’s not all fun and games for Kim Kardashian West
Despite her recent Instagram post, Kardashian West has had to assume the roles of many influential people in her children’s lives during the pandemic, including the role of their teachers. When she’s not cooking, doing laundry, or introducing her four children to another ’80s movie, Kardashian West is helping her kids with school work.
“Being their teacher — [I have] newfound respect for teachers. They deserve so much,” Kardashian West told the View. “It’s been tough juggling it all, and you really have to put yourself on the back burner and just focus on the kids.”
Kim Kardashian West misses her siblings
While Kardashian West and the rest of her family have been taking their social distancing seriously, doing so has been tough. “We’re all really taking this extremely seriously, we haven’t seen any sisters,” Kardashian West mentioned in her interview with The View.
“It’s been really hard,” Kardashian West admitted when asked about what it has been like not to see her family in person. Kardashian West shared that she has been hosting Zoom dinners to keep up with her mom, Kris Jenner, siblings Khloé Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Rob Kardashian, Kylie Jenne, and Kendall Jenner, and grandmother, Mary Jo Campbell.
“It has been really challenging,” she said. Considering how big the Kardashian-Jenners are on family, it’s understandable how different this time must be for them. “We’re so close — we’re so used to hanging out.” Kardashian West’s children haven’t seen their cousins in some time, which has “been really different for them, too,” according to Kardashian West
All in all, Kardashian West said she and her entire family are doing what they can to respect the rules and help stop the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
