How Many Emmys Does Beyoncé Have?
Through the years, Beyoncé has received quite a lot of award nominations and wins for being the incredible singer, songwriter, actress, and entrepreneur that she is.
From her humble beginnings with Destiny’s Child to now, Beyoncé has received just under 500 wins for her many different career endeavors as well as countless nominations.
Though Beyoncé has won practically every award in the book, many can’t help but wonder if the singer has ever won a Primetime Emmy Award?
Beyoncé has yet to win an Emmy
There is no question that Beyoncé deserves every award that she receives.
The singer has shown the world not only her talent, but also all of the hard work she continues to put into her career.
Beyoncé is definitely a force to be reckoned with and her 28 MTV Video Music Awards, 23 Grammy Awards, and 13 Billboard Music Awards prove that to be true.
Though the Queen Bey has taken home a large number of awards over the years, that number continues to grow.
With the 2019 Primetime Emmys having just passed, many fans were waiting to see if this would be the year the singer won her very first Emmy.
Beyoncé was first nominated to receive the Emmy Award for Outstanding Short-Format Live-Action Entertainment Program back in 2013 due to her incredible and captivating Super Bowl XLVII Halftime Show performance.
Though she did not win that time around, the singer has since been nominate seven more times and has yet to win an Emmy Award.
With all of the amazing performances and visual albums Beyoncé has done these past six years, many of us assumed that she would have won an Emmy Award by now.
Fans are certain the singer was snubbed at the this year’s Emmy Awards
This past weekend, Beyoncé received four nominations for her Netflix collaboration Homecoming, documenting her Coachella performance both onstage and behind the scenes.
Although many fans were certain the singer was going to take home at least one Emmy win for Homecoming, they were shocked to learn that Beyoncé ended up walking away with nothing.
Fans were in complete an utter shock that the Queen Bey, who’s Netflix special was a work of art, didn’t even receive the recognition she rightfully deserved.
The Beyhive was even more upset over the fact that Homecoming lost to James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke special with Paul McCartney for the Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded) award.
After learning of this, fans took to Twitter to point out all of the hard work Beyoncé and her team had put into their Coachella performance, which was documented in Netflix special.
One fan called the decision “horrible” while others mentioned that Beyoncé special was much better visually and artistically than James Cordon’s Carpool Karaoke.
Though Beyoncé lost out again on winning an Emmy Award, we are certain the day will come when she finally takes one take home.
