How Much Does It Cost to Eat at ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Restaurant SUR?
If you’re a Bravo addict, you know SUR. Much of the made-for-TV drama on the network’s hit show Vanderpump Rules goes down at Lisa Vanderpump’s “sexy unique restaurant” in the happening West Hollywood neighborhood. The restaurateur’s signature L.A. eatery boasts “a seductive vibe with an exotic flair” and a staff that includes a few of everyone’s favorite Bravolebrities. Oh, and it serves food too.
The restaurant is a must-visit spot for any Vanderpump Rules fan. Let’s take a look at the menu to see how much a meal at SUR will set you back.
SUR’s brunch menu
SUR debuted its new brunch menu in September. Appetizers such as an ahi tuna tartare and avocado toast are $12 to $15. The latter is Vanderpump Rules star Katie Maloney’s fave. The famous goat cheese balls are $12.
Egg dishes are $18 to $20 and included a veggies omelet with spinach, asparagus, mushroom, tomatoes, and mozzarella, and a protein breakfast of egg whites, spinach, and grilled chicken breast. If you’re leaning toward the lunch side of brunch, the pan-roasted salmon is $22 and the blue cheeseburger is $20.
SUR’s dinner menu
Start your dinner at SUR with an appetizer like porcini mushroom ravioli ($11), smoked salmon tapas ($15), or shrimp and crab cakes ($11).
Nine salads are on the menu, ranging from the SUR salad (a mix of greens, tomatoes, and balsamic vinaigrette for $10) to the $15 grapefruit arugula salad (shaved fennel and endive topped with goat cheese crumbs, pomegranate seeds, and pomegranate dressing).
Pasta dishes like linguine alla carbonara and lobster and crab ravioli are $18 to $27. Entrees include dishes like seared ahi tuna ($33), roasted duck breast with red wine plum sauce ($34), and roasted rack of lamb with rosemary red wine sauce ($38). For desserts, choose from sweet treats like a blackberry cobbler a la mode ($10) or a slice of New York cheesecake ($10).
Drinks at SUR
Let’s be honest, chances are you’re at SUR for the drinks, including signature Vanderpump Rules cocktails like the Strawberrini ($15) and the Big Pinky ($15). You can also quench your thirst with the Flirtini, a champagne cocktail made with soured pineapple vodka and pineapple juice ($14) or the Casablanca (a mix of Maker’s Mark, St. Germain, and soda for $15). A pitcher of Lisa Vanderpump’s sangria is $45.
The bar menu includes lighter fare like fried goat cheese empanadas ($13), skewered Portobello mushrooms with bell peppers and hearts of palm ($13), beef sliders with blue cheese and carmelized onions ($16), and a grilled filet mignon baguette sandwich with avocado and roasted peppers ($15).
Is SUR any good?
On Yelp, reviews for SUR are mixed. Many people praised the atmosphere, attentive service and the food, but others said the menu disappointed and that it wasn’t worth visiting unless you were a Vanderpump Rules fan. A reviewer at Refinery29 who ate there in 2016 called “one of the worst restaurants in Los Angeles.” Harsh? Maybe. You’ll have to decide for yourself the next time you’re in L.A.
