When it comes to sponsored social media content, the Kardashian-Jenner sisters make a pretty penny.
Any fans of reality television’s first family know that they are connoisseurs when it comes to posting sponsored content, mainly on Instagram.
Though they post sponsored content regularly, many can’t help but wonder how much these famous sisters pocket from these ads?
In a recent interview, momager Kris Jenner breaks down how her daughters make their money on social media and how their range of fees plays a large part.
The Kardashian-Jenners have a fee for everything
It does not come as a shock that many different companies reach out to the Kardashian-Jenner sisters asking them to promote a product on their social media accounts.
So many companies have reached out to the reality stars over the years, that they have had to up their prices when it comes to promoting products.
During a special interview CBS Sunday Morning, Kris Jenner gave an inside scoop on what really goes into her daughters’ practices when it comes to sponsored social media posts.
The momager revealed that her famous daughters charge a wide range of fees when it comes to them promoting a product on their social media pages.
“My daughters are constantly getting offers to post something for a company, or a brand, on social media,” Jenner told CBS News’ Tracy Smith. “So they’re — they have a fee for a post, or a fee for a story, a fee for Facebook, a fee for – you know — they have a fee schedule.”
The sisters make six figures just from social media
Over the past few years, the Kardashian-Jenners have shared many different sponsored content on their social media pages with their millions of followers.
Being some of the most famous celebrities to date, companies have found that working with the Kardashian family on social media definitely ups their revenue and are willing to pay the reality stars big bucks.
Even though Kris Jenner was not up to reveal the exact amount her daughters receive from sponsored content with CBS, she did say that the posts are “definitely six figures.”
Jenner then went into share the factors that are taken into consideration when deciding how much her daughters get paid.
According to the momager, it all depends on which daughter is doing the promoting and what product they’ll be showing off to followers.
If Kylie or Kim is doing the promoting, the price is going to be higher than if it was Kendall, Khloe or Kourtney.
She then shared that if the ad is for “a pharmaceutical product, if it’s something that you’re going to drink, or ingest, or put on your body” the price goes up.
The Kardashian-Jenner sister have shared in the past that they only promote products that they actually use.
During an interview with The New York Times last month, Kim Kardashian West revealed that she only accepts to do endorsements if she has used the product before and is something that will not take her away from her family.
“If there is work that is really easy that doesn’t take away from our kids, that’s like a huge priority, if someone was faced with the same job opportunities, I think they would maybe consider,” she said.
Even though the Kardashian-Jenners make more than enough money from their reality show alone, sponsored social media ads are giving them that extra amount of income.
