How Old Is Khloe Kardashian and What Is Her Ethnicity?

Where would the Kardashians be without drama? They’d be just another average family, right? Well, maybe.

Khloe is the youngest of three daughters born to mom Kris and dad Robert Kardashian. She also has a younger biological brother. From there the family only gets more complicated after a divorce from Robert, Kris married 1976 Olympic gold medalist and decathlon star Bruce Jenner. With that came three stepbrothers and a stepsister for Khloe. A bit later came two younger half-sisters.

Khloe’s been married and divorced herself, and she’s just left a three-year relationship from the father of her only child, daughter True. So how old is Khloe and what is her ethnicity? Let’s take a look.

Khloe’s heritage and family

Khloe was born June 27, 1984, in Los Angeles. She’s currently 34. Her older sisters Kourtney and Kim are 39 and 38, respectively. The girls’ younger brother Rob is 32.

Their dad was an LA attorney who rose to fame as one of O.J. Simpson’s defense attorneys in the 1985 murder case of O.J.’s wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ron Goldman. Robert Kardashian was also born in L.A., a third-generation Armenian-American.

Mom Kris was born in San Diego. She comes from Dutch, English, Scottish and Irish ancestry. Kris and Robert were married for 13 years having their four children before their divorce in 1991. Robert went on to marry two other women, one marriage lasting only a month, prior to his death from esophageal cancer in 2003.

Kris married Jenner later the same year of her first divorce. With a blended family of eight kids, they had two more daughters together, Kendall and Kylie, giving Khloe a total of nine siblings. The Jenners divorced in 2015 as Bruce began his journey of gender transition to become a woman named Caitlyn.

Khloe’s modeling & television career

As with all of the Kardashian siblings, Khloe’s name recognition really took off with the television series, Keeping Up with the Kardashians premiering in 2007. Like the show, much of the Kardashians’ work has involved other members of the family. For instance, Khloe published the book Kardashian Konfidential with her sisters. And, together with her sister Kourtney, the two owned a successful Miami clothing boutique called D-A-S-H.

But on her own Khloe also worked as a model. She co-hosted the American version of the X-Factor alongside Mario Lopez, and she has had her own makeover show called Revenge Body with Khloe Kardashian since 2017. She also appeared on the second Celebrity Apprentice back in 2009.

After dating for only one month, Khloe married Lakers star Lamar Odom in 2009. It was a second marriage for him and her first. She filed for divorce in 2015 but retracted the application after he collapsed in a Nevada brothel and was unconscious for days following. Although they had not reconciled, she wanted to stay by his side until he got better. Their divorce was finalized in Dec. 2016.

Until quite recently, Khloe was involved in a romantic relationship with Cleveland Cavaliers’ center Tristan Thompson, six years her junior. Together they have a daughter, True Thompson, born in April 2018. In February of this year, Khloe split from Thompson after learning of an affair he had with Jordyn Woods, best friend of Khloe’s half-sister, Kylie Jenner.

Khloe wants a good life for her daughter even if that means she may file for sole custody. Although she has said, she does want Tristan to remain an active part of their daughter’s life.

Just where Khloe Kardashian’s life may turn next is anybody’s guess. She remains an active member of the Keeping Up with the Kardashians cast, at least for now. Despite notoriously poor critic reviews since its conception, the show now in its 16th seasons remains a hit among fans who just cannot seem to get enough of the Kardashian family.

Having been nominated for either the Teen Choice Awards and/or People’s Choice Awards every year since Season 2 in the categories of Reality TV Show, TV Guilty Pleasure, or for the sisters as a unit for Realty/Variety Star: Female, the show continues to win more times than not. It remains the most watched show on the E! Network.
