‘The Bachelor’: How Old Is Peter Weber?
Peter Weber — aka Peter the Pilot — stole the hearts of Bachelor Nation when he first appeared on Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette. He quickly became a fan-favorite with his charming personality and dashing looks during limo night. He also became one of the final three contestants, alongside Jed Wyatt and Tyler Cameron. However, fans probably remember Weber as the man Brown had sex in a windmill with — not once, but four times. And as Weber rises as the potential frontrunner to become the next bachelor, fans are wondering how old Weber is.
Weber’s age on ‘The Bachelorette’

According to Weber’s Bachelorette bio on the ABC website, the California native was 27-years-old when he joined the reality series. However, it seems the rising star has since celebrated a birthday. On Aug. 28, Us Weekly cited Weber as a 28-years-old while discussing his chances of becoming the franchise’s next bachelor.
What is Weber’s job?
As you might have guessed, Pilot Pete is an airline pilot. And if you were wondering what airline he flies for, you’ll be happy to hear it’s no secret. Since his time on The Bachelorette Season 15, Weber hasn’t been shy about his job. Although he doesn’t post much on social media, he seems willing to share aspects of his work life online.
According to his Instagram page, Weber previously worked for Compass Airlines. Then in March 2018, he accepted a position with Delta Airlines. Weber gushed in an Instagram post:
I’m so ready for this adventure. I’ve wanted to become a major airline pilot my entire life and today I’m so excited to announce I’ve accepted an offer to fly for Delta Air Lines. I can’t express my gratitude enough to everyone who’s helped me achieve my dream; thank you a million times. I feel like a little kid right now and I’ll never forget this feeling.

Is Weber going to be the next lead for ‘The Bachelor’?
Weber has been a frontrunner for the new bachelor title since he left Hannah’s season of The Bachelorette. And although the pilot has been up against fan-favorites like Mike Johnson and Derek Peth, even former bachelor lead, Colton Underwood, expressed his vote for Weber.
“After following social media, I still like Peter,” Underwood told Entertainment Tonight. “And I still want Peter to be bachelor because [Cassie Randolph] said he was cute, so let’s get him off the market.”
Now, if you’re feeling the same way as Underwood, stay tuned. After the Bachelor in Paradise reunion taping, Bachelor Nation blogger Reality Steve revealed ABC announced Weber as the next bachelor during the television special airing on Sept. 17.
As of this write-up, nothing in regards to Weber and The Bachelor franchise has been confirmed by ABC. However, Newsweek shared Weber was spotted filming at Los Angeles International Airport on Sept. 12. Meanwhile, Reality Steve hinted Weber was taping his intro video for The Bachelor.
Regardless of why Weber was filming at LAX, the pilot could potentially be Bachelor Nation’s next headliner for season 24. And of course, given his late 20s age, he will fit right in.
