How to Get Tickets to See a Live Taping of ‘Full Frontal with Samantha Bee’

Late-night TV viewers love to tune in for Samantha Bee’s snarky take on the week’s news. The Full Frontal comedian has staked her claim to a piece of the political comedy show pie since her show premiered on TBS in 2016, challenging programs like The Daily Show and Last Week Tonight for dominance.

Bee shows no sign of slowing down. In 2018, TBS renewed Full Frontal for two seasons, meaning she’ll be on the air through 2020 (good news for fans who are looking forward to her take on the upcoming presidential election). Of course, if you really love this Canadian-born comedian, simply watching her on TV every Wednesday night might not be enough. Here’s how you can get tickets to see her show live in New York City.

Full Frontal tickets are free

You don’t have to pay anything to attend a taping of Full Frontal. But you do have to request tickets in advance online. Tickets are available for the upcoming four broadcasts, which means that if you’re planning a Big Apple trip for this summer, you’ll have to wait until a bit closer to your departure date to get tickets.

Requesting tickets online doesn’t guarantee you’ll be able to see the show. Once you submit your request, you’ll have to wait to hear back to see if you’ve been selected. You should get an email within five to seven business days if you’ve been chosen to receive tickets. If you don’t hear anything, you didn’t get tickets.

The show tapes Wednesday at 5:45 p.m. at the CBS Broadcast Center on West 57th Street in New York City. You can request up to four tickets and must arrive 40 minutes before the show begins.

To be eligible to attend a taping you must either live in the New York City area or be visiting during the filming week. Everyone who attends must be at least 18 years old.

Can’t get tickets to see Samantha Bee? If you strike out with Full Frontal, you might still be able to get a seat in the audience for a taping of another show. You can also request tickets for The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, or Late Night with Seth Myers. All those shows also tape in New York City.

If you’re in Los Angeles, you can request tickets to see Jimmy Kimmel Live!,  The Late Late Show with James Corden, Conan, or Real Time with Bill Maher. Tickets to all those shows are also free.

Full Frontal with Samantha Bee airs Wednesdays at 10:30/9:30c on TBS.
