How to See the ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ Trailer
— The Avengers (@Avengers) October 22, 2014
The highly anticipated Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer is finally coming our way. After initial screenings at San Diego Comic Con and New York Comic Con, the official first footage from the much-buzzed about sequel will be aired for the entire public during an upcoming episode of ABC’S Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. television series.
The announcement was made during this Tuesday’s episode of the show and both Marvel and ABC have since taken to social media to confirm the news. Viewers can catch the teaser trailer on October 28 during the hour-long episode, starting at 9 p.m. ET. It will likely hit the web very soon after.
Fans have been eagerly awaiting news of the trailer’s release since earlier this summer when Marvel and Disney first unveiled an explosive reel, which included an extended look at the introduction of the villainous Ultron, as well as a dark scene portraying the battle between the robot and the Avengers team, including Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), and Black Widow (Scarlet Johnasson). Since then, the studio has also revealed an official plot synopsis that confirmed that Ultron’s existence only comes about after one of Stark’s well-intentioned, but ambitious plans goes terribly wrong.
It’s unclear which parts of the Comic Con footage will be included in the upcoming clip or if the trailer will show new footage. Regardless, it’s safe to say fans will be ready to decipher the teaser from start to finish as soon as it airs next week.
[Update: Marvel has made another trailer available on YouTube. It is expected that the trailer showing October 28 will be a different one. You can see the released trailer below.]
