How Victoria Beckham Is Revolutionizing The Beauty Industry In a Big Way

Victoria Beckham and David Beckham are one of the most enduring power couples of all time. The two are internationally loved, and their relationship seems pretty solid. Even though they both found fame when they were younger — they met in 1997, and married in 1999 — it hasn’t gotten in the way of a healthy relationship.

Both of these superstars continue to grow as people, and each of their new ventures brings them more success. For David, his years as a soccer player led to a leadership role in the sport. He’s the president of one club, and the owner of another.

Victoria, or Posh Spice, now runs a successful fashion empire. Her line produces clothes, and now she’s breaking into beauty products. Like everything Posh does, she’s added her own twist to her beauty line. She wants to use her products to change how women see themselves. 

Victoria Beckham is not afraid to age

Most people avoid wrinkles at all costs. Not Victoria. She isn’t afraid to admit she has them, and she wants other women to feel the same. In a way, she’s earned them. She’s 45 years old: She’s a successful, grown-up woman. She knows wrinkles are a part of the deal. Now she’s using her influence to help other women embrace their age too.

“I want to spread the word that everybody should feel like the best version of themselves,” she said. “To look after what you have. I want to tell people to own who you are.”

For Victoria Beckham, it seems like beauty products aren’t about covering up, but making sure your skin and body are as healthy as possible.

She’s against anti-aging

You will not see any anti-aging products in Posh’s new beauty line. She is decidedly pro-aging: It’s happening to all of us, whether we like it or not. She doesn’t want aging to be something fearful. Instead, it should be embraced. 

Of anti-aging products, she says: “I hate seeing the words ‘anti-aging’ and ‘anti-wrinkle’ [on products] — what is that about? It should just be about having the best skin you can have.”

Not only does she hate seeing the words, but she’s also not about to slap perfectly retouched pictures on her products, either. Her photos for the line were not retouched to remove wrinkles. Any photos of other women she chose for the line were also minimally retouched. 

The new line will add to the Beckham family’s fortune

Posh is doing quite well for herself, and this new addition to her fashion empire will probably serve to increase her impressive net worth. She’s worth around $450 million. Combine that with her husband’s $450 million net worth, and they’re almost billionaires. It’s great that despite all that cash, Victoria really hasn’t changed much. She’s still all about girl power and helping other women.

Victoria also seems like a great mom. She and David have four children: three boys and one girl. They spread Posh’s message or girl power to all four of them. She thinks feminism is important for all of her children, even the boys.

She encourages her daughter to lift other women up and to be kind. Maybe her 8-year-old daughter Harper will bring the girl power message to the next generation of young women. 

In the 90s, the Spice Girls revolutionized the pop culture scene. They spread a powerful message of self-appreciation to young girls. Now that her fans are all grown up, Posh Spice still has their backs. She’s still trying to change the way women think and feel about themselves, for the better.
