Is Alex Rodriguez Fooling Everyone, Including Jennifer Lopez?
With multiple cheating scandals surfacing, and a history of deception, should Jennifer Lopez trust the Ex-Yankee?
Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez announced their engagement via Instagram on March 9, 2018. While love was in the air – and fans took to every social media platform – to congratulate the couple, the excitement was short-lived.

Soon after the engagement was announced, Jose Canseco (formerly Number 33 for the NY Yankees) wrote on Twitter:
“Watching World of Dance watching J.Lo text Alex Rodriguez little does she know that he is cheating on her with my ex-wife Jessica poor girl she has no idea who he really is.”
Jose Canseco Twitter
While this Tweet was largely ignored, as both A-Rod and Jessica Canseco denied the accusation (and many saw the tweet as an attempt from Jose Canseco to regain a little lost spotlight), another accusation surfaced soon after. More recently, Alex Rodriguez was accused of cheating on Jennifer Lopez with Playboy Model Zoe Gregory.
Alleged interactions between Alex Rodriguez and Zoe Gregory
Alex Rodriguez allegedly sent a photo of his private area to Zoe Gregory, before proposing to Jennifer Lopez. Gregory reported that A-Rod also sent some “thirsty” texts asking about her friends and a possible threesome. According to the National Enquirer, Gregory stated that A-Rod was “being like a dirty dog” before going on to explain that “He seemed like a needy, horny bloke.”
Whether or not there’s truth behind any of these rumors remains to be seen; however, Alex Rodriguez’s history does raise a little suspicion. The question is: Is Alex Rodriguez fooling everyone? Is he really seeing other women, and is he using his charm and Ex-Yankee status to pull a veil over everyone’s eyes?
Alex Rodriguez reportedly cheated on his first wife
Alex Rodriguez’s wife, Cynthia Scurtis, filed for divorce in 2008, citing infidelity and “other marital misconduct,” according to ESPN.com. The couple was married for five years and had two children together; however, things quickly fell apart as rumors began to surface that A-Rod was having an affair with Madonna. Cynthia Scrurtis stated in the divorce papers that her husband “emotionally abandoned his wife and children,” according to ESPN.
While Madonna went on to deny rumors that she and A-Rod were having an affair, she was married to Guy Ritchie at the time. Thus, Madonna had her reputation and relationship to protect and, therefore,
Whether or not A-Rod and Madonna were sleeping together, A-Rod’s marriage collapsed on the grounds of extra-marital misconduct, and Cynthia Scurtis seemed very distressed at the time. Madonna may not have been “the other woman,” but Cynthia Scurtis seemed positive that there was another woman.
Alex Rodriguez has previousl displayed a knack for deception
Alex Rodriguez has already once proven his ability to lie directly to someone’s face (and on camera), as he told Katie Couric, in a 2007 interview for 60 Minutes, that he did not use performance-enhancing drugs.
Alex Rodriguez fessed up to the truth two years later and admitted to using performance-enhancing drugs from 2001-2003. He cited the pressure to perform as his motivating factor. For nearly two years, Alex Rodriguez vehemently denied using steroids!
Whether or not Alex Rodriguez is cheating on Jennifer Lopez will remain to be seen. While it’s likely that cheating reports will continue to surface, as so many people out there are looking for five minutes of fame, let’s assume he’s telling the truth for now. However, if he is cheating, and he handles this the way he handled the steroid debacle, he won’t fess up for a while.
