Is Erika Jayne Returning to ‘RHOBH’ Season 10 or Was She Fired?
Erika Jayne’s future on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was put into question for Season 10. The Bravo reality show has already started filming the new season and there were rumors that the “Xxpen$ive” hitmaker had been fired. A new report has shed light into Jayne’s status on RHOBH after two new housewives were announced.
What is the status of Erika Jayne on ‘RHOBH’?
Jayne has been a fan favorite housewife since her introduction back in Season 6. Followers of “The Pretty Mess” star created havoc on social media when an apparent slip-up was created at the time of the announcement of Garcelle Beauvais and Sutton Stracke joining the cast for Season 10.
“Beauvais and Stracke will be joining existing cast members Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, Teddi Mellencamp, Dorit Kemsley, and Denise Richards,” the post read, making no mention of Jayne.
There was another rumor that the singer had removed all mentions of RHOBH from her social media, something that was proven she never had to begin with.
Now, Us Weekly is confirming that Jayne is still a full-time housewife and has not been demoted nor fired.
“The women are flying to NYC to film all week,” an insider told the publication.
Fans of the performer should now be able to sleep easier at night knowing that Jayne will be back for Season 10.
Sutton Stracke joins ‘RHOBH’
Season 10 of RHOBH will have a new face when the show returns as Rinna’s friend Stracke joins the cast.
“I am thrilled and honored to be joining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. As a mother to three children who is also deeply committed to my efforts in philanthropy, my life is a balancing act,” Stracke said in a statement to The Daily Dish.
We don’t know a lot about Stracke but it’ll be interesting to see how she fits into the mix of Beverly Hills ladies.
“There is a lot going on in the best way possible and I strive to pursue all of my passions to the fullest,” she continued. “I am excited to share my true loves of art and fashion design and open the doors to my world. I am looking forward to this ride and where this journey takes me. Fun times ahead for this Southern Belle in Southern California!”
Garcelle Beauvais makes ‘RHOBH’ history
Another new face that will be holding a diamond in the RHOBH intro is Beauvais, the first African American housewife in this franchise.
“I am excited and proud to be joining the cast of such a wildly popular and beloved show like The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” Beauvais told The Daily Dish in a statement. “As a working actor who has been in the industry for some time, it’s exhilarating to have the opportunity to delve into a new chapter in the entertainment spectrum.”
Beauvais is also a friend of Rinna’s and an accomplished actress whose credits include The Jamie Foxx Show and NYPD Blue.
“As the first African American Housewife in the Beverly Hills franchise, I am honored and humbled by this awesome opportunity to exemplify the fact that Black Girl Magic lives and thrives in every zip code!” she added. “Already being intimately familiar with the spotlight of Hollywood, my journey of successes and trials has already been chronicled and shared with my many loyal supporters around the world. The continual encouragement, support and yes, even at times, criticism, have helped make me the dynamic woman I am today.”
