Is Jessie J. Looking To Have Kids With Channing Tatum?
For the past few months, Jessie J. and Channing Tatum have been keeping their relationship under wraps, but the singer is now to ready to open up about their love.
In a recent interview, the singer revealed a lot about her relationship with Tatum, meeting his daughter for the first time, and even her battle with infertility.
Though Jessie J.’s chances of having children are very slim, the singer refuses to let it get the best of her and hopes to one day become a mother.
Whether or not that includes Channing Tatum is still up in the air but the couple looks to be getting more and more serious with each passing day.
Jessie J. is very happy with Channing Tatum
Even though they’ve only been dating for a few months, Jessie J. and Channing Tatum already see a future together.
The pair first sparked romance rumors back in October right before Tatum’s estranged wife, Jenna Dewan, filed for divorce.
Since then, the couple has been spotted together on multiple occasions and though Channing Tatum has yet to publicly discuss their relationship, Jessie J. just recently opened up about their love.
During an interview with the London Times, the singer shared a few details about her relationship with Tatum but was adamant on not sharing too much.
“Chan and I got photographed before our relationship was even a thing and that created such pressure. We’ve needed time to get to know each other,” she said. We’ve just had our first holiday together, which was wonderful, but that’s all I’m saying.”
Jessie also discussed meeting the actor’s six-year-old daughter, Everly, and shared how it wasn’t difficult for her meeting the young girl despite her battle with infertility.
“She’s just six and absolutely lovely,” she told the Times.
Though meeting his daughter was a big step in their relationship, Jessie and Channing are still taking things slow and aren’t looking to rush into anything.
“Just because he’s Channing Tatum everyone’s kind of sped us up into this, like, ‘are you getting married? Are you doing this?'” Jessie explained on The Heart Breakfast Show on June 10. “I mean, I’ve been in relationships for a lot longer than Chan and I have in the last four, five years but they’re not famous so no one really cares. We’re having a lovely time. And I’m very, very respectful of his situation and his [privacy].”
She is looking to have kids one day in the future
Along with opening up about her relationship with Channing Tatum, Jessie J. also got candid about her ongoing battle with adenomyosis, a condition similar to endometriosis.
The condition can make it difficult for women to become pregnant or even maintain a pregnancy.
This past November, the singer revealed to the crowd at one of her concerts that she found out about her condition four years prior but didn’t want to let it shatter her dream of becoming a mother.
“Basically, I am still hoping [to be able to get pregnant]. Some days it seems possible I might have children and others not. I have to accept that becoming a mother is going to be a battle,” Jessie shared with Times. “Oh yeah, I might go down the route of adoption or even surrogacy. I pray I have children the natural way, but if not, I’ll deal with it.”
Whether or not having children with Channing Tatum is something that will happen in the future, Jessie J. is considering all of her options to one day become the mother she’s always dreamed of being.
