Is Prince Harry Really Working Too Much as a New Father?

It has only been a few weeks since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry welcomed their first son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, and the newborn has had quite a life already. He has been photographed, and his adorable pictures have been adored by people all around the world.

In addition, he has been visited by, and no doubt doted upon, family members such as Prince William and Kate Middleton, Prince Charles, and of course, Queen Elizabeth. Not to mention Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, who traveled to England to help out with her new grandson.

Although Meghan has not been seen in public since before Archie’s birth, as she is taking some much-needed downtime, Harry has already stepped out to go back to work. We have to wonder, is the Duke of Sussex really working too much as a brand new father?

Harry had expressed his desire to become a father before he and Meghan ever met. Once they were married, they announced Meghan’s pregnancy within a few months, and much to the delight of fans, they welcomed Archie just shy of one year to the day of their first wedding anniversary. The entire world couldn’t be happier for the couple, as it is evident that starting a family was something that they both longed for. In fact, we often saw Meghan adorably cradling her baby bump whenever she was seen in public, further proving that she couldn’t wait to become a mom.

Prince Harry is already back to work

Just days after Archie made his big debut into the world, the dedicated prince was already back to work, promoting the 2020 Invictus Games in the Netherlands. While some new mothers would be absolutely devastated at the idea of their partner leaving so soon after the baby is born, Meghan has the help and support of her mother and members of the royal family, so she is certainly not alone.

Prince Harry is not in the easiest position

Many people might feel that it is too soon for Harry to be leaving in order to go back to royal duties. However, we must take into consideration that someone who is in the media spotlight certainly is not in the easiest position. If he chose to take paternity leave, chances are, the media would be critical and say that he is neglecting his royal duties. Yet, they are criticizing him for doing the opposite and attending to his responsibilities. Either way, there is no doubt that the news media would have something to say.

Prince Harry will be an amazing father

Although Harry is choosing to return to work immediately following the birth of his son, it does not mean that he still won’t be an amazing father. We know that he is planning to be a hands-on, involved parent to his newborn baby, and returning to work is not going to stop him from doing just that. In addition, Harry is extremely dedicated to his work as a royal, so chances are, he thought long and hard about how to find the right balance between his duties and responsibility as a father, and it is likely that Meghan agrees.

Is Prince Harry working too much as a new father?

We are quite sure that Harry is doing what is best for him and his family. He is likely giving Meghan an overwhelming amount of love and support and hasn’t been away from home for that long. If anyone will do a great job at making sure that his wife and child have everything that they could ever need, we know that it is definitely Harry.
