For the past year, the actors have been at the center of ongoing dating rumors after being spotted on multiple occasions together.
Though they have yet to verbally confirm their possible romance, the pair has been giving fans reasons to believe they are a couple and have been for a while now.
The romance rumors first came to light back in September 2018 when the fan account tchallamet__ shared a photograph of the pair walking together in New York City.
Although many thought Chalamet and Depp were just friends, the romance rumors were just getting started.
The following month, the internet went into a complete and total frenzy after the actors were photographed kissing in the rain during an intimate outing in New York City.
Prior to their kiss, the stars were reportedly enjoying dinner at NYC’s Lower West Side’s Blue Ribbon Chicken restaurants.
After the photographed surfaced, fans and news outlets were convinced that these two were more than just friends.
A source even described them as “a new young couple in love.”
Chalamet and Depp have yet to open up about their romance
While many of us are certain Timothée Chalamet and Lily-Rose are dating, we have a feeling that the confirmation we are anxiously waiting on will never come.
Both Chalamet and Depp have remained pretty mum when it comes to talking about their relationships.
Earlier this year, the Call Me By Your Name star full out dodged questions about his rumored romance with Depp while appearing at the 2019 Golden Globes.
When asked by Access Hollywood if he would be meeting with up with Depp after the award show, the actor laughed and replied, “I’m here with my mom.”
Not only is Chalamet one to keep his personal life to himself, the actor previously opened about his fear of the ‘D’ word (date), explaining to W magazine back in January 2018, “Date is very much a scary word because then that context has been established,” he said. “You can always see people on early date behavior.”
While no one really knows for a fact if Timothée Chalamet and Lily-Rose Depp are actually a couple, after their most recent red carpet appearance, the romance rumors might not be too far off.
The two actors were recently spotted walking the 2019 Venice Film Festival red carpet together and appeared to have coordinated their outfits dressing in shades of light grey and dusty pink.
While the outfit coordination could have very much been a coincidence, Chalamet and Depp were all smiles as they walked alongside each other.
Chalamet and Depp have just finished filming Joel Edgerton’s The King, in which the 22-year-old actor will star as Henry V while the actress will play his wife Catherine of Valois, Queen consort of England.
