It Looks Like Jill Duggar Is Allowing Her Kids to Receive Mail From Fans Through Her P.O. Box

While plenty of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s 19 children have caused controversy over the years, it’s Jill Duggar who’s making the biggest splash now. Jill and her husband, Derick Dillard, are rarely featured on Counting On. And Derick told his Instagram followers at the end of 2019 that he and Jill are only welcome at the Duggar family home when Jim Bob allows.

After Derick’s tea, Jill remained quiet on the ‘gram. But she did note that she was starting up her own P.O. box so fans could send her mail if they wished. And now, it seems like it’s not just her and Derick who are open to receiving gifts — but she may be allowing her sons, Israel and Samuel, to also partake.

Derick made some seriously scathing claims against Jill’s family. While some of her followers may speculate on how she’s feeling, we may never know for sure. She told one of her Instagram followers that she appreciates their concern, but overall, she’s “quite content” with her decisions and where she’s at right now.

While Jill may not be as outspoken as her husband, that doesn’t mean she’s not open to hearing from her followers. On Jan. 3, she posted photos of her whole family visiting the post office to set up a P.O. box. And she also provided the address for her fans so they could send whatever they wanted.

“Made a trip to the post office today to get a new P.O. box! Swipe up in my stories for contact info,” Jill captioned her post.

She’s already received mail despite some fan backlash

Shortly after Jill set up her P.O. box, she began receiving mail from fans — and she posted it all on her Instagram Story. On Jan. 9, she panned over the letters and boxes she received while talking to the camera.

“Got mail from our P.O. box for the first time! Thank you guys for the mail. Thank you, Miss Ellen, for the sweet gift and for the skirts …,” Jill said.

While she may be excited about everything she received, some of her followers are skeptical about her decision to set up the mailbox in the first place. Jill and Derick have been accused of asking fans for money in the past, and some believe the couple’s at it again with the mailbox.

“So, you’re essentially just begging for people to send you free stuff now?” a follower commented on the post about setting up the box.

“And people are dumb enough to send stuff and $$,” another wrote.

It looks like she’s letting her kids get mail as well

On Feb. 5, Jill took to her Instagram Story while she was in the car, and it could be assumed she just visited the P.O. box she set up. And she has Israel and Samuel in the backseat with mail of their own.

“Hey Sam, what did you get?” Jill asks her youngest as he’s opening what looks to be an envelope. It looks like he got stickers themed after the kids program PAW Patrol. “Say thank you, Miss Ellen,” Jill tells Sam after he opens his mail.

Jill then verifies where she’s been to her camera. “We just ran by the post office, and we all got happy mail,” the mom said. She then added that she got a gift from Trades of Hope, and “Israel and Samuel got cards.”

When Jill’s back home, she shows off that her sons also got special $2 bills as gifts. And it seems the cards, stickers, and dollar bills are all from someone named “Miss Ellen.” Jill’s received gifts from her in the past.

We’re not sure if Miss Ellen is a family friend or just a fan of Jill’s family, but we’re sure some of Jill’s followers will have some opinions about her young kids receiving mail from a potential stranger.
