Jada Pinkett Smith is a big fan of this wonderful man

During a Nov. 13 Red Table Talk with guest Jameela Jamil, Pinkett Smith sported a simple enough black t-shirt that said ‘Emilio Estefan Fan Club.’ Why? It turns out she’s such a huge fan of the guy, she wanted to get the word out that he’s one of the greats.

At the end of the video, Pinkett Smith explained the reason behind her shirt. “Emilio Estefan is Gloria’s husband … I have never in my life seen a man who flows so much power, kindness, and gentleness to the women in his family,” she explained.

“He’s one of the most beautiful men I’ve ever met … they exist,” she added.

‘Red Table Talk’ spinoff features the Estefans

The Estefans are part of the Red Table Talk family now, as Emily Estefan, mom Gloria Estefan, and cousin Lili Estefan have their own Red Table Talk spinoff. The show originated with Pinkett Smith, her mom Adrienne Banfield-Norris, and daughter Willow Smith.

Red Table Talk: The Estefans follows the same format of generations discussing various topics, with celebrities and experts joining the conversation.

When discussing the new Facebook series, Gloria told NBC News, “The truth is often the most entertaining. Am I right?”

“In the entertainment industry, it’s rare to go to work in front of cameras and feel like you also healed at the end of it,” Gloria noted, as the show seeks to be “a healing source for whoever watches besides entertainment.”

“You take them on an emotional journey and hopefully, along the way, it’s healing for them as it is for us,” she explained. “And the risk that you always take when you do something and open yourself up, needs to be worth it, and the only way to make it worth it, is by trying to help other people.”

Lili echoed the sentiment and shared how “hard conversations” won’t be avoided. “In the world now, you have the connections but not the time,” Lili shared. “There’s something there that it’s not balanced well, and I think of the Red Table Talk as la sobremesa. We’re staying there having those hard conversations.”

Emily Estefan shared her thoughts on her parents

One episode of Red Table Talk: The Estefans focused on Gloria’s 1990 tour bus accident that left her with a broken back. She discussed what happened and how instrumental her husband was in helping her as she was unable to do anything due to her injury.

“I learned so much about my mom’s accident,” Emily shared with NBC News. “There’s so much more strength that I now attribute to vulnerability.”

As for her dad, Emilio, Emily explained that he is a light in dark times. “He’s one of the only people I’ve met that truly, even in hard times, finds a way to find the silver lining,” she said. “The table definitely is red, but it has a silver lining.”
