Jameela Jamil Just Slammed Khloé Kardashian For Her Latest Instagram Post

The Good Place actress Jameela Jamil has made it her mission to stand up for women and young girls amidst some of the toxic images that have been thrust up in the media and Hollywood. Now, Jamil is going after Khloé Kardashian for promoting a meal replacement shake on Instagram.

Why is Khloé Kardashian’s Instagram ad so problematic?

Recently, Khloé Kardashian came under major fire for promoting, Flat Tummy Shake –which is a meal replacement shake that hasn’t been approved by doctors or the FDA. In the caption, Kardashian –who was surely paid a boatload of money for the ad said, “#ad Loving how my tummy looks right now, you guys! I brought @flattummyco’s meal replacement shakes into my routine about 2 weeks ago, and the progress is undeniable✨P.S the shakes are 20% off today and you can get Flat Tummy Tea at a really good deal too. Go check it out!”

Fans were not having it. Kardashian’s comment section has been in shambles with fans saying, “don’t promote this crap it’s called exercise and nutrition” and “please stop promoting this we know it’s not how you got your amazing figure it’s so damaging to young girls.” Fans also tagged Jameela Jamil who has clapped back at the Keeping Up with the Kardashian star for posting that the two thing girls want in this world is to lose weight and eat. Jamil said,

This makes me sad. I hope my daughter grows up wanting more than this. I want more than this. Sending love to this poor woman. This industry did this to her. The media did it to her. They fat shamed her into a prison of self critique. Dear girls, WANT MORE THAN THIS

Jameela Jamil just slammed Khloé Kardashian

Jameela Jamil just got wind of Khloé Kardashian’s latest Flat Tummy Tea ad, and she unleashed a furious critique. Jamil clapped back in True’s mom comments with some “Strong Facts.” The Good Place actress wrote,

If you’re too irresponsible to: a) own up to the fact that you have a personal trainer, nutritionist, probable chef, and a surgeon to achieve your aesthetic, rather than this laxative product…And b) tell them the side effects of this NON-FDA approved product, that most doctors are saying aren’t healthy […] then I guess I have to. It’sincrediblye awful that this industry bullied you until you became this fixated on your appearance. That’s the media’s fault. But now please don’t put that back into the world, and hurt other girls, the way you would have been hurt. You’re a smart woman. Be smarter than this.

Kardashian has not responded to Jamil –but maybe she will think about the message she is sending to her own infant daughter when it comes to body image and food.
