Jason Tartick Was ‘Up For’ A Televised Wedding With Kaitlyn Bristowe Until He Watched Krystal Nielson And Chris Randone’s On ‘BIP’

Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick make up one of Bachelor Nation’s most beloved couples. After things didn’t work out between Bristowe and her Bachelorette season winner, Shawn Booth, fans were thrilled to learn she had linked up with former Bachelorette contestant (from Becca Kufrin’s season) Tartick. It seemed like a match made in heaven.

After moving in together after six months of dating and adopting a dog named Ramen Noodle, next thing on the couple’s to-do list is get engaged.

No, they’re not engaged yet, but Bristowe has a sneaking suspicion that it’ll happen at any moment.

“Every time I’m like, ‘Oh my, God. Is today the day?’” she recently told Us Weekly. “I’m probably going to ruin the day because I’m going to be like, ‘Oh, here it comes! I know this is it!’”

It’s looking like Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick won’t televise their wedding

Of course, Bachelor fans are hoping the couple will want to televise their nuptials.

Bristowe has always leaned towards ‘no.’

She knows fans are invested in their relationship, and she says they plan on sharing a lot of their big day, but not on television.

“We want to share things with [fans] but I think I want it a little more private,” Bristowe told E! News.

Tartick, on the other hand, told Us Weekly that he was initially “up for” a televised wedding but was turned off by the idea after watching Krytal Nielson and Chris Randone’s wedding on the most recent season of Bachelor In Paradise.

“I was just so bothered by the way it was. They had the fight going on during their wedding,” he said of John Paul Jones and Derek Peth’s heated exchange of words during the couple’s big day. “They had to pick people and assign them to tables, which was clearly produced. …  It was just so goofy. They have such a great story and they looked so great and it was beautiful and I felt like that just took away from a special day.”

Jason Tartick wants to make sure ‘all the most important people to us’ are at his and Kaitlyn Bristowe’s wedding

Instead, Tartick wants the day to be about him, Bristowe, and their close friends and family.

“There’s just nothing more important to me than family and friends and just making sure that all the most important people to us in the world that have put us in the position that we are in today are there to share that special day. I just get goosebumps thinking about it. I think in typical Kaitlyn and Jason fashion, I would imagine a wedding of a lot of fun, parting, singing, dancing, eating, open bar, top shelf,” he told E! News.
