Jay Smith of ’90 Day Fiancé’ Begs Ashley Martson to Cancel Divorce, Allegedly Texts Her About ‘Sex Addiction’

Ashley Martson and Jay Smith of 90 Day Fiancé fame have had a tumultuous relationship. After multiple cheating scandals, Martson decided to cut off Smith, filing for divorce for the second time — and the final time, it seems. Now, Jay Smith seems to be on the run from the law — according to Martson, there’s a warrant out for his arrest. With the fear of potential deportation seemingly looming over Smith’s head, Martson claims he’s now reaching out to her, requesting that she drop the divorce.

What went wrong?

When Ashley Martson married Jay Smith in Las Vegas, she probably didn’t expect things to sour so quickly. And when we say quickly, we mean one day later. The 90 Day Fiancé star caught Smith chatting with other women on Tinder only a single day after their wedding. That’s a pretty big red flag.

Apparently Martson thought so too, because she filed for divorce eight months later. But something changed her mind, and 11 days after filing the paperwork, she rescinded it and decided to give their relationship another go.

It wasn’t meant to be, however, because Martson wound up catching Smith cheating again. This time, she’s committed to her divorce. An inside source told InTouch, “Ashley is indeed filing for divorce after catching Jay cheating yet again. She has reached her breaking point and this is the final straw. She feels like she was an opportunity for him and she is hurt and disgusted.”

On the run from the law

Now that Ashley Martson isn’t with Jay Smith anymore, his residency in the U.S. has been called into question. The 90 Day Fiancé revealed to John Yates on Instagram that she has a court date scheduled on August 7, during which the court will work to determine Smith’s future in the country.

Martson told Yates, “He will be deported on August 7 unless he runs, which is what I’m assuming he’s probably [planning].”

According to Martson, Smith also has a warrant out for his arrest right now. “[Immigration and Customs Enforcement] has already been here to arrest him. They know where he works… I mean obviously if they come to my house at this point, I’m gonna tell them where he’s at. So I’m not sure why he’s still sticking around because we got a letter three weeks ago saying he has an active warrant for his arrest.”

Martson went on to say, “The thing that’s really frustrating is he’s here illegally now… I did file for his adjustment of status, and then two weeks later he screwed up again, so I withdrew it.”

Jay Smith claims he has a sex addiction

Ashley Martson says she has since been receiving messages from Jay Smith. The 90 Day Fiancé star suspects that Smith is desperate to stay in the country by any means possible. During her chat with Yates, Martson said, “It’s not ‘if.’ He ‘is’ going to get deported, and he knows he is. And he even called me. He went to the attorney and he said like, ‘I’m f-cked.’ Like he even offered money — like, ‘Can I pay you to withdraw the divorce?’”

That smacks of desperation. Martson says Smith has also been texting her asking to get back together. “I have text messages from him from three days ago telling me that he has a sex addiction problem and he’ll go to counseling, [and that] he wants to go to couples counseling and he wants to work things out,” said Martson.

Martson says it’s all a ruse, and that she won’t be taken in by Smith’s crocodile tears. She told Yates, “Because, one day it’s like, ‘Don’t talk to me, I’m out partying with bitches and strippers and hoes and drinking Hennessy and smoking pot.’ And then the next day, it’s ‘I love you, I’m sorry, I have a sex addiction, let’s go to couples counseling and work through this.’ Because I’m the only person that can save him from being deported.”
