Jenelle Evans Tweets What She Is Thankful for After Divorce Announcement
One person who had a long year is Jenelle Evans. That mostly has to do with her relationship with David Eason. Now she is celebrating the holidays after announcing she filed for divorce. Find out what she tweeted for Thanksgiving and more.
Jenelle Evans announced that she filed for divorce from David Eason
The married couple made headlines multiple times. One time was when Eason reportedly killed her dog, Nugget. This upset many fans and led to her getting fired from Teen Mom 2. They later temporarily lost custody of their children and successfully fought for it back.
Evans announced on Instagram that she had called it quits with her husband not long after this. She wrote about making a few changes in her life.
“The kids and I have moved away from David,” read part of the statement. “Nobody gets into a marriage expecting it to end but I know thats [sic] what is best for me, and for my kids.”
The statement ended, “Today I’ve filed papers to start that process. I appreciate the support from everybody who has asked how I am. Me and the kids are doing great. We need some time to be together. But you’ll hear from us again soon.”
Evans got a restraining order against him
Evans was also able to get a restraining order and have it extended. E! News reported that legal documents she filed claimed there were “several incidents” of “alleged abuse” by Eason. The documents also claimed “she is concerned for her and her children’s safety.”
The order includes her three kids, Kaiser, Jace, and Ensley. It claims he can’t have “contact with Jenelle or the children and will not post about Jenelle on social media or the internet.”
Evans seems to be moving on by getting in touch with some people from her past. She reunited with her best friend, Victoria “Tori” Rhyne.
Rhyne posted on Instagram on Nov. 27, “I totally miss you dude. I can’t wait to see you and the kids soon. So glad we’re friends again. Idc [sic] what people say either. Some people hate us, some people love us. And I personally, love us. On a side note, I’m very happy for you and also very proud of you. Just wanted to give you a little shout out. So there it is @j_evans1219 LOL AT THESE PICS THO.”
She tweeted that she is thankful for her kids
The mother tweeted what she was thinking about this Thanksgiving day. She tweeted, “Happy Thanksgiving! Thankful for the amazing kids I have and grateful for finally finding happiness within myself.”
The former reality star previously retweeted a fan’s tweet overhearing her mother traveling the day before the holiday. “Just saw @PBandJenelley_1 mother and jace on my flight to Nashville. Barb talked to my 3 year old and said he did really good on the flight I swear I wasn’t even looking but I recognized her voice and turned around so quick,” tweeted the fan.
It seems like the former reality star is moving on. She still hasn’t posted on Instagram since her divorce announcement.
