‘Jersey Shore’ is turning into a ‘Family Vacation’

Many fans are excited to see the Jersey Shore roommates reunite — this time with their significant others. Because of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, this season of Jersey Shore will truly be a family vacation, including the cast’s husbands, wives, girlfriends, and boyfriends.

From what is shown in the promos, season 4 will include Deena Cortese’s husband and son, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino’s wife Lauren, and Pauly DelVecchio’s girlfriend Nikki Hall. Surprisingly, Farley’s wrestler boyfriend, Zack “24” Carpinello will be returning to the series this season, too.

Zack ’24’ Carpinello tried the ‘Jersey Shore’ life before

The last time Farley brought Carpinello into her world of reality television, things went sour rather quickly.

In October 2019, Farley finally got to see how Carpinello behaved that infamous night in Las Vegas. While Farley was intoxicated, Carpinello got inappropriately close to Angelina Pivarnick. Carpinello’s actions caused unnecessary friction within the group and trouble in his relationship with Farley.

After patching her relationship with Pivarnick, Farley decided to give Carpinello another chance.

After their brief breakup, fans spotted Carpinello on Farley’s Instagram in December 2019. She took Carpinello out with some of the Jersey Shore roommates to celebrate his birthday.

Their romance continued to blossom well into the following year. Carpinello has spent much of 2020 with Farley. Earlier in the year, he was helping Farley keep her two children entertained in quarantine. More recently, Farley has shared photos on her Instagram Stories of Carpinello helping decorate her home for the holidays.

Considering how things went the first time Farley included Carpinello in her Jersey Shore adventures, she was careful in bringing him back onto the show for season 4 of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation

“Being back on TV as we do this show, you never know how it turns out,” Farley told Us WeeklyFarley has mentioned before how the editing on Jersey Shore has impacted her public image and, occasionally, her relationships with her roommates.

“Bringing [Carpinello] back in and just like coming full circle and being like, ‘Alright, let’s hit the reset button, and redo this,’ obviously, I was a little hesitant,” Farley admitted. Farley explained how she is “very protective” of Carpinello, especially because of the way things played out with Pivarnick. Farley treats her roommates with the same protective care.

“I just want everyone to be happy, but I also don’t want anything taken out of context,” she added. Considering how things were misconstrued at Pivarnick’s wedding, Farley’s hesitation is understandable.

“You know, that’s the mama bear in me!” she concluded.

Fans will have to tune in to Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 4 to see how Carpinello’s second act plays out.
