Jennifer Aniston and Other Celebrities Who Are Obsessed With ‘The Bachelor’
Celebrities — they’re just like us. Or rather, they like the same reality TV shows as us. We might not picture certain stars cuddling up on the couch to watch The Bachelor, but some of the biggest names in Hollywood are shockingly obsessed. From Jennifer Aniston to Christian Slater, these celebrities have admitted to being fans of The Bachelor.
While Jennifer Aniston may be one of Hollywood’s most successful celebrities, underneath it all, she’s just like us. Her go-to guilty pleasure is watching The Bachelor — but that wasn’t her intention when she first started watching it.
When she and Justin Theroux were still together, Aniston told The Hollywood Reporter how she and her (now ex) husband got hooked. “Justin and I, just for fun, watched — and two hours later, we were addicted,” she admitted. “It was like junk food. We were sad when it ended.”
Adam Scott has no shame in his Bachelor game. “I refuse to say it’s a guilty pleasure, because I feel no guilt whatsoever,” he revealed, according to People.
Like Scott, actor Christian Slater totally owns his obsession with The Bachelor. He’s opened up about his feelings toward the show on multiple occasions, including during an August 2018 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
He admitted to keeping up with Becca Kufrin’s season of The Bachelorette, as well as leaning toward “Team Blake.” While Slater and his daughter have bonded over their love for the reality TV franchise, he admitted to Kimmel, “Now it’s a family event.”
Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher
Watching The Bachelor can serve as a great date night — and that goes for celebrities, too. Not only do Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher love watching the show, but they made a guest appearance on Rachel Lindsay’s season of The Bachelorette.
Kunis recalled during an appearance on Live With Kelly and Ryan, “We love the show so much, we went on our date night.” Like any normal couple, she added, “We were like, ‘Let’s go on, like, a fun date in the afternoon. What should we do? Let’s go be on The Bachelorette.’”
Now that Sean Penn has admitted to being a fan of The Bachelor, no one has to feel embarrassed about loving the show. While he told Jimmy Kimmel that he’s hooked, he did explain that he isn’t there for the fluff.
He usually fast forwards through most “conversations,” but he’ll always stop and watch the important parts. “I want to hear the decisions,” he spilled. “And I want to see someone cry.”
Actress Anna Kendrick isn’t just a fan of The Bachelor. She’s an avid live-tweeter throughout each episode, serving as a commentator for fans. During Chris Soules’ season of The Bachelor, for example, Kendrick tweeted, “Kaitlyn can do better” She added, “Like if my boyfriend left me for her, I’d get it. #TheBachelor.”
When The Bachelor host Chris Harrison met Jennifer Lawrence, their interaction went exactly as we’d expect. According to People, Harrison raved, “Jennifer Lawrence was awesome.”
He continued, “I was so blown away by her performance and I was really looking forward to meeting her. And then she walks up and she tells me how much she loves [the show]. I’m like, ‘You like The Bachelor?’ and she was like, ‘Duh, I’m a girl.’“
