The Kardashians upped their Halloween game this year
It’s no secret that the Kardashian-Jenner’s plan ahead months in advance for the end of October, preparing truly awe-inspiring Halloween costumes. A few of their most famous costumes over the years have included Kardashian dressed as Princess Jasmine from Aladdin; Kardashian and her longtime best friend, Jonathan Cheban, as Sonny and Cher; and Kylie Jenner’s recreation of Christina Aguilera’s classic “Dirrty” music video costume.
This year, however, the family really pulled out all the stops. Kardashian did a coordinated group costume with Kanye West and their four kids, each of them dressing as a character from The Flintstones cartoon series. Meanwhile, Jenner dressed up as Ariel from The Little Mermaid, outfitting her toddler daughter Stormi in a recreation of her Met Gala 2019 dress.
Khloe Kardashian looked fantastic as Cruella De Ville and dressed up her baby daughter True Thompson in several different outfits, including a baby Oompa Loompa and a sweet swan. Kourtney Kardashian had several fabulous costumes that she trotted out, including a more subdued version of Cruella De Ville and her own unique take on Dolly Parton.

Although Kim Kardashian looked adorable with her family in the coordinated group costumes, she saved the majority of her efforts for a stunning solo outfit. Kardashian, who has been studying to become a lawyer, chose a perfectly appropriate Halloween costume and dressed as Elle Woods from Legally Blonde, complete with a miniature dog and pink accessories.
Kardashian didn’t stop at just recreating the outfit — she actually produced and filmed her own take on Elle Woods’ Harvard admissions video. The spot-on outfit, combined with the hilarious admissions video, made Kardashian’s Halloween costume an instant hit with fans. Her costume went viral and definitely didn’t escape the notice of several high-profile celebrities.
What did Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon say about Kim Kardashian’s costume?
Reese Witherspoon, who played Elle Woods in Legally Blonde and Legally Blonde 2 films, couldn’t get enough of Kardashian’s creative costume and even talked about it in a recent interview. While out promoting her new Apple TV+ series, The Morning Show, Witherspoon revealed that Kardashian had let her know in advance that she was planning to do her own take on Elle Woods for Halloween.
Witherspoon gave her blessing by telling Kardashian to “go for it.” The award-winning actress went on to say that she’s “impressed with Kim” because she went all out, including hiring extras to do the full video along with her.
Witherspoon’s co-star, Jennifer Aniston, chimed in and said: “that’s incredible.” Aniston also praised Kardashian’s dedication, saying “that’s a really big commitment.”
For Kardashian, there is probably no bigger compliment than two such high-powered actresses singing her praises. This year was definitely one for the books in terms of creative Kardashian Halloween costumes.
