Aniston and Witherspoon are big fans of intermittent fasting

The two The Morning Show co-stars say that they practice intermittent fasting, in which they increase the nighttime window where you do not eat anything. The actors told the UK magazine Radio Times that they skip solid food for 16 hours each day.

Anniston and Witherspoon only eat for eight hours each day. Aniston said, “I noticed a big difference in going without solid food for 16 hours.”

Regular intermittent fasters stick to just coffee, tea, and water when they are fasting. The two actors also drink juice in the morning, along with coffee.

What does the typical morning routine look like for Aniston and Witherspoon?

Aniston is a late riser—she does not get up until around 8:30 or 9 a.m.

“Today, I woke up and had a celery juice,” Aniston said. “Then I started to brew some coffee, but I don’t drink coffee that early.” She prefers to meditate, work out, and feed her dog before she drinks her coffee.

Witherspoon does the same, “I just have a green juice and a coffee in the morning.” Although, she rises earlier than Aniston. Witherspoon said that her 7-year-old son usually wakes her around 5:30 or 6 a.m.

Witherspoon told the magazine that she is a morning person, but does not like to start her work out until about 7:30 a.m. She works out six days each week.

Aniston said she works out one fewer day a week than Witherspoon. Witherspoon said she asks Aniston for “well-being” advice because she “knows so much about health and fitness.”

Aniston’s response to this is, “Well, we want to thrive, right? We’re just beginning.”

Aniston and Witherspoon’s new series ‘The Morning Show’ will debut November 1, on Apple TV+

It makes sense that the co-stars are talking about their morning routines since their new show looks at the lives of the people who help America wake up in the morning.

The Morning Show will also feature Steve Carell, Nestor Carbonell, and Billy Crudup.

The series opens with the firing of Carell’s character for sexual harassment allegations. It will continue to discuss and focus on the #metoo movement throughout its run.
