How much did Jennifer Lopez’s engagement ring from Alex Rodriguez cost?

Shortly after getting engaged, both Rodriguez and Lopez posted a stunning still photograph of the “Jenny From the Block” singer’s ring on their Instagram accounts. The massive ring very nearly blinded us all. So what are the deets on the massive rock?

According to Andrew Brown, President of WP Diamonds, the ring is worth $1 million. Brown told E! News, “I would imagine Jennifer Lopez’s engagement ring to have a retail value approaching a million dollars. It looks to be an emerald cut around 10 carats, likely an extremely good stone—VS in color and clarity.” Jewelry expert Lauren McCawley agreed with Brown’s assessment saying, “J. Lo’s new emerald-cut stunner is what engagement ring dreams are made of. An approximate 15-carat diamond sparkles in a platinum solitaire setting and could easily retail for $1 Million.” Honestly, it’s so big we’re surprised J.Lo can hold up her hand.

How did Alex Rodriguez propose to Jennifer Lopez?

Over the weekend of March 8, 2019 –Lopez and Rodriguez took some time away from their hectic schedules to zip off to the Bahamas for a romantic getaway. They were probably celebrating their two year anniversary which was back on Feb. 4, 2019.

After taking a closer look at Rodriguez’s Instagram, it looks like he waited until sunset to get down on one knee and ask Lopez to be his wife. From looking at the setting, it was both breathtaking and magical.

A few hours before posting the ring, the baseball icon posted his definition of a soulmate on his Instagram stories. He used Bianca Sparacino’s quote saying,

A soulmate isn’t someone who completes you. No, a soulmate is someone who inspires you to complete yourself. A soulmate is someone who loves you with so much conviction, and so much heart, that it is nearly impossible to doubt just how capable you are of becoming exactly who you have always wanted to be.
