The couple had a bad New Year’s Eve together. They were at a party when they allegedly got into a fight.

A source claimed she “lunged” and him when he tried to leave the club. “She was restrained by his friend, but when he was walking out she took an ashtray from the table and threw it at his head, busting his nose and lip,” a source said according to People.

The reality star reportedly filed a report against Harley after the alleged altercation. Her home was later allegedly ransacked and her flat-screen TV, a vase, pictures, and glass frames were smashed. Harley reportedly believed Ortiz-Magro was somehow involved and TMZ confirmed that he was a “person of interest.”

He claimed their relationship is better

The couple had their ups and downs. It looks like since he got out of rehab they are on better terms.

We’re actually doing better and I feel like it had — took for me to change myself for things to get better,” he revealed to Page Six. “You know, I felt like I was just doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result and I, you know, that’s insanity. I had to just take a step back and, you know, gain f*cking control of myself.”

He went on to say what he wants people to know. “I just want people to learn that, you know, I am a calm and family guy,” he said.

The Jersey Shore star previously talked about his reason for going to rehab. “I decided to go to treatment because I wanted to be a better person, a better father for my daughter,” he said. “Eventually, all the bad decisions I was making were going to lead me to places that I didn’t want to be. I wanted to be led to the place that I am now – that’s happy, healthy and the best role model for my daughter.”

The Clark County District Attorney’s Office won’t prosecute Harley

The Clark County District Attorney’s Office declined to prosecute Harley and the charges were dropped. TMZ reported that Ortiz-Magro wasn’t cooperating, which also doesn’t help with the case.

Harley and Ortiz-Magro have an on-and-off relationship. However, they have recently been seen together. They reportedly were in New York City having dinner at a restaurant with their daughter and neither drank, according to In Touch Weekly.

The couple reportedly “was in a very upbeat mood” according to a source. “They were both doting on their daughter throughout the meal. Owners Sal and Lisa Scognamillo were commenting that Ronnie is a great dad.” They also spent July 4 together.
