Ronnie Ortiz-Magro has been partying in Las Vegas while filming Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. But it looks like he’s preparing to make a few big changes after going to rehab. One of those is leaving Las Vegas for a specific reason. Find out why he is leaving and more.

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro said he is leaving Las Vegas because he needs structure

The reality star revealed why the city is no longer the ideal place to live after going to rehab. “I think out in Vegas, I just didn’t have any structure or routine,” Ortiz-Magro told Us Weekly.” So what is his new city of choice? He will be moving to Los Angeles.

When asked if his 10-month-old daughter, Ariana and his on-and-off girlfriend, Jen Harley will be moving with him he answered, “All I can do is be the best person I’m going to be and be the best father. If she doesn’t live with me, she’ll grow up to the point where she’s able to make her own choice.”

He then said, “Whatever she wants to do, I’m going to support her because she’s always going to be my little angel.”

The father didn’t exactly say whether he and Jen Harley will continue pursuing a relationship with each other. “She’s always going to be the mother of my child, at the end of the day,” said Ortiz-Magro. “All I can do is control myself. I can’t control her, I can’t control my daughter. Well, for right now I can, but not when she gets older.”

Things recently weren’t looking good for the parents. Jen Harley posted a message in an Instagram story referring to Ortiz-Magro. “I’m sorry but if you go away for 6 weeks to become a better boyfriend, father person etc to work on your family but you choose to cancel all of our plans on Valentine’s Day so you can appear on a dating show bc you need the money that bad over your family … your [sic] a joke,” she wrote. “How did you better anything?? You continue to put us back in the same position by doing the same things that put us there in the first place.”

Also, their New Year’s Eve ended with them getting into an argument in a club. A source claimed Harley “lunged” at him then was restrained by his friend. He later filed a Battery Domestic Violence report, according to People.

Things didn’t end there. Harley’s home was allegedly ransacked a few hours later. She accused Ortiz-Magro of being involved and he was named a person of interest, but not a suspect.

The Jersey Shore star revealed why he went to rehab. “I was very depressed and when I was depressed I would just turn to drinking,” he told Us Weekly “and when I would drink bad things would just continue to happen because I wouldn’t react the way I should.” It looks like he is hoping to stay on a different path in a different city.
