‘Jersey Shore’s’ Jenni ‘JWoww Farley Writes Letter Revealing Husband’s Abuse

Fans of the early seasons of MTV’s Jersey Shore were quick to fall in love with the romance that blossomed between resident wild girl Jenni JWoww Farley and Roger Mathews.

With Mathews, it seemed like Farley had finally found her match. The two even went on to have a baby in 2014 and get married in 2015.

But the couple wasn’t able to hold onto the romance for long and in 2018, Farley filed for divorce.

The Abuse

On Wednesday night, Farley shared intimate details of the couple’s relationship, including a video that allegedly showed Mathews abusing her.

Farley released a letter on her website accusing Mathews of assaulting her.

“You are an abuser to the core, Roger Mathews,” she wrote. “You have spit at me. You have pushed me. You have shoved me. You have aggressively thrown me to the ground. You have prevented me from closing doors to escape having you coming at me. You have belittled and disparaged me. You have threatened me.”

Farley expressed that she originally kept this information to herself to protect her children.

“I have spent the last few months trying to protect our children from public humilation, because as parents, we are supposed to protect them,” she wrote. “I wanted to handle this out of the spotlight because our silence is their greater good. Even when you disgrace my name, make false accusations and even point blank lie… I still remained silent as challenging as it was…why? Because, greater good. I can no longer sit idly by while you mistreat and malign me in such an egregious manner. You have presented yourself to the public as a praiseworthy father and a husband who has been suffering by my alleged actions and behaviors.”

Restraining Order

Farley’s letter comes as a reponse to Mathews allegetions that Farley filed a restraining order on him in December of 2018.

In a series of Instagram videos, Mathews claimed that Farley was keeping him from his children.

“Alright, guys, I’m doing my best to stay composed right now, although I’m really upset for my children,” he said while in the back of a police car. “My wife, earlier tonight, we had a disagreement because she’s leaving again tomorrow for work and promised my daughter that she would be hanging out with her all day, whereas my daughter has the flu. So I took umbrage to it, and a little bit of a disagreement I would say ensued.”

He continued in his next video.

“Jenni became completely, uncontrollably emotional like she always does and said she was calling the police. And I said, ‘For what? What did I do?’ I said, ‘I’ll call the police myself.’ So I called the police because I knew she would make some sort of false police report, which is typical Jenni. The last two exes can [attest] to that. I got woken up about 2 o’clock in the morning … by two officers who said she contacted a judge and filed a restraining order.”

He captioned the videos claiming that Farley had gone to these extreme levels to try to paint him in a bad light to their children.

“She gets so emotional and irrational in her anger this is the level she brings it to,” the caption read. “Saddest day of my life watching her tell my daughter ‘she is sorry she had children with your daddy’. The truth will come out. The truth will set you free. I will never stop fighting for my kids.”
