‘Counting On’ Fans Think Jill Duggar is More Miserable Than the Rest of Her Family

Jill Duggar is one of those reality television stars that fans have mixed feelings about. Sometimes she gets a lot of love, and other times her social media posts receive far more negative comments. Duggar puts up a front that she loves her life, but fans think she might actually be the most miserable Duggar in the family.

Duggar is married to Derick Dillard, who fans don’t seem to like

Dillard and Duggar wed back in June 2014. Although Dillard appeared to be a good guy at first, fans started thinking differently about him once the Duggar sisters got their own show. Dillard’s personality became a lot more obvious, and fans thought he seemed extremely close minded. He got in trouble with the network in 2017 for posting negative comments about TLC stars Jazz Jennings, Nate Berkus, and Jeremiah Brent and their lifestyles. Fans didn’t take well to the comments, either. Plus, they found Duggar and Dillard’s charity to be shady in terms of where the donations were actually going; the charity eventually folded.

Some think Duggar settled for Dillard so she could marry before Jessa

People have questioned whether Duggar is actually in love with her husband. Some fans believe she might have settled for Dillard so that she could beat her sister, Jessa Duggar, down the aisle. Jessa was courting Ben Seewald at the same time Duggar and Dillard were courting, and Duggar might have been worried her younger sister would be the first to marry. Marriage is a big deal in the Duggar family; the kids tend to get married very young and start families immediately. It’s possible Duggar had some sort of issue with her sister being the first to marry and chose Dillard because she was running out of time. (Jessa Duggar wed Ben Seewald five months later.)

Some fans believe Duggar settled for Dillard.

Duggar’s husband forced her to leave ‘Counting On’

After Dillard got in trouble with TLC for the comments he had made on Twitter, fans called for him to be fired from the show. While the rumors suggest that TLC parted ways with Dillard’s family on their own terms, Dillard says that he decided to pull the family out of the show on his terms. It’s unclear which story is actually true, but either way, Duggar is no longer allowed to film with any of her siblings. Since Duggar left the show, fans have questioned how the two still make money. Duggar does post ads to Instagram, but considering the family just built a brand new house, fans think they must be getting money from somewhere else, too.

Duggar seems envious of Jessa and Jinger

Jill Duggar isn’t nearly as liked by fans as her two sisters. Jessa seems happy in her marriage to Ben Seewald and just welcomed her third child. And Jinger and Jeremy have developed a life totally their own; they’ll move to Los Angeles next month. Fans adore Jinger’s daughter, Felicity, and fans think that Jessa and Ben seem to go well together. It wouldn’t surprise anyone if Duggar felt a bit envious of her sisters, since their lives have hardly hit any speed bumps.
