Jinger Duggar From ‘Counting On’ Ventures Out for In-N-Out During Coronavirus Lockdown
Jinger Duggar is becoming more Californian by the day. The Arkansas native relocated to Los Angeles last summer, and since then, she’s been embracing the SoCal lifestyle. A few days ago, she shared a photo of herself and her husband Jeremy Vuolo wearing Dodgers face masks. Now, she’s indulging in fast food from one of the state’s most famous restaurant chains.
Jinger Duggar heads to In-N-Out
With the entire state of California under a coronavirus lockdown, Jinger and Jeremy are spending a lot of time at home. But trips to get takeout from restaurants are still allowed, and the couple took advantage of that to treat themselves to some In-N-Out, a cult-favorite burger chain based in the L.A. area and with locations across the West.
On April 10, Jinger shared an Instagram Story of herself, Jeremy, and daughter Felicity in their car after picking up food from the fast-food spot.
“We’ve got the goods. Check this out,” Jinger says as she holds a tray containing two burgers and fries. “Strawberry shakes for the win. It’s a great day.”
From the looks of it, it seems that Jinger and Jeremy are In-N-Out pros. In addition to a Double-Double, they ordered a burger “protein style” (wrapped in lettuce instead of a bun) from the chain’s “not-so-secret menu.” (In-N-Out’s posted menu has just a handful of items, but those in the know can customize their order, such as requesting extra meat or cheese or ordering a sandwich or fries “animal style.”)
Jinger and Jeremy are Dodgers fans
In the Instagram story, Jeremy is wearing his Dodgers face mask, which he showed off in a post from earlier in the week. Jinger shared a similar photo.
“It’s an L.A. thing,” he wrote. “Stay safe out there, friends.”
Counting On fans were thrilled to see the couple supporting their local team.
“Love it!! Go Dodgers!” wrote one person on Jeremy’s post.
“Yay you’re baseball fans of the best team ever!!” commented someone on Jinger’s post.
While many were excited to see Jinger and Jeremy’s masks (which were made by a friend), others warned them that they should not put a mask on their one-year-old daughter.
“I’m sure you know this already but don’t put a mask on your daughter if she is under 2,” warned one. “It’s a suffocation risk.”
Jinger has always wanted to live in a city
Jinger embrace of California culture is no surprise. She’d long talked about wanting to move to the big city.
“I’m really excited about the decision to move to L.A.,” she said in an episode of Counting On. “I’ve always thought that it would be neat to live in a big city. I love the hustle and bustle.”
Jinger’s big sister Jessa confirmed that moving to the second-largest city in the U.S. was the right move for the reality star.
“I’m really excited for them with this move,” Jessa said in the episode. “Jinger’s always loved big cities. Anytime we would take a family road trip and end up in Chicago or New York, she was always like, ‘This is awesome. I would love to live here one day.’ And all the rest of us were like, ‘No. I want to go back to the country.’”
