‘Counting On:’ Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo Are Taking Full Advantage of Their New California Lifestyle
Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo recently made a move to Los Angeles, California. The couple announced several months ago that they would be starting a new life out there, moving even farther away from both of their families. The two were previously living in Texas, and though they were sad to leave their Laredo friends behind, they appear to be taking full advantage of their new neighborhood.
Duggar and Vuolo moved to California so Vuolo could take graduate classes
A few months back, the Vuolo family announced that after living in Laredo, Texas for several years, they were moving out to Los Angeles so Vuolo could take graduate classes. Vuolo had been a pastor at their church in Laredo, and the two made a brief trip out to Los Angeles in the spring, after which fans thought it seemed like the perfect fit for them. They had a few months to say goodbye to their small town in the south and start a new chapter on the West Coast. Although the two moved even further from their families, Duggar has appeared to take on a life of her own and hasn’t followed in the strict footsteps of her parents.
The couple recently attended a professional soccer game with their daughter
When the family first arrived in Los Angeles, they took their young daughter, Felicity, to a Major League Soccer game. Vuolo is a former MLS player and still loves to get out on the field when he can. Duggar posted a photo with her daughter and Vuolo, and the caption suggested that Felicity might one day follow in her father’s footsteps. This was a huge statement, since none of the Duggar women have ever played a sport competitively. It seems that the city’s liberal vibe is already rubbing off on the seemingly uptight family.
The two have tried out plenty of new food spots in the city
In addition to attending sporting events, Duggar and Vuolo have taken full advantage of the diverse cuisine out in L.A. Duggar posted a photo of Vuolo and Felicity enjoying ice cream and another of herself and Felicity dining on some Chinese food. Vuolo posted a photo of Duggar and their daughter at a pizza spot when they first moved to L.A. Besides checking out all of the fun restaurants, the family has also explored different areas such as Chinatown, Studio City, and Santa Clarita.
Things turned scary when the little family felt the recent earthquake
While the family seems to be loving their new life together, things did get a bit scary at one point. Shortly after they arrived, dangerous earthquakes hit the area, and Duggar revealed on Instagram that her family felt the shake. “Yes, we definitely felt the earthquake,” Duggar said in response to a fan’s comment. “Our entire house was shaking.” Thankfully, it appears everyone was alright, and it hasn’t stopped them from enjoying their new home. We’re certain they will both continue to document their new lifestyle on social media, and we’re here for it.
