To say things between Kylie Jenner and Jordyn Woods are a little rocky would be an understatement.
The former BFFs haven’t really been in contact since the whole Tristan Thompson cheating scandal and it’s looking like the drama is still continuing.
While Jenner has recently given up any hope of one day reconciling with her former friend, Woods is not giving up that easily and is certain they can rebuild their relationship.
Woods hopes to one day repair her relationship with Jenner
It’s been five months since the world was left in shock over Tristan Thompson cheating on Khloé Kardashian with Kylie Jenner’s best friend, Jordyn Woods.
Though some of us didn’t want to believe it at first, source after source confirmed that Thompson and Woods were together during his party and the model had gotten a little close for comfort.
While Woods has already given her side of the story, the model has remained pretty mum on the whole situation until now.
In a brand-new interview with Cosmopolitan UK, Woods breaks her silence and finally addressed how she feels about the drama that happened five months prior.
“I just need[ed] some time by myself to try to understand what [was] happening, why it [was] happening, and how am I going to react to this internally, you know? How can I make things right with myself, with God and with my relationships? It took some time off in order for me to have a level head on how I should react.”
One of the main points Woods touched upon in her interview was where her relationship with Kylie Jenner now stands.
Before this entire scandal become one of the most talked-about topics in entertainment history, Kylie Jenner and Jordyn Wood were practically conjoined at the hip.
The former friends did everything together, from enjoying lavish vacations to working alongside each other for special projects.
Jenner and Woods were more than just friends, they were sisters and many of us hoped that after this scandal started to lose its relevance, they would try to work on rebuilding their friendship.
However, with both Kylie Jenner and Jordyn Woods extremely busy with their own careers and lives, finding time to do so became a challenge.
Though they haven’t made any progress in mending their broken friendship, the model still has hope she and Jenner will one day be friends again.
“I love her. That’s my homie. I hope everything falls into place and that we can all grow and build our relationships with our family and God and come back together one day and be stronger and happier.”
The possibility of rekindling their friendship isn’t looking too good
Though Jordyn Woods is confident things between her and Kylie Jenner will work out in the end, the makeup mogul no longer feels the same.
In the months following the cheating scandal, sources close to the reality star revealed that she had hoped to rebuild her relationship with Woods when the time was right.
While Jenner’s family tried to pursued her to cut ties with the model like they had, the makeup mogul felt like she couldn’t give up on her friend that easily.
With Jenner and Woods having established a strong bond over the years, not trying to work at mending their relationship just wouldn’t feel right.
“She’ll always care about Jordyn and she only wants the best for her,” a source told Us Weekly. “She’s only sending positivity to Jordyn, but it’s too soon to say [if] they’ll be able to fully reconcile. But time heals a lot of wounds, and the Kardashian/Jenners are a forgiving family.”
Though the possibility of these former BFFs looked promising, that all changed this past week when Jordyn Woods was spotted partying in a Houston bar with Khloé Kardashian’s ex, James Harden.
While some sources claim the meeting was purely a coincidence, Kylie Jenner wasn’t convinced and unfollowed her ex-BFF on Instagram.
Many of us had hoped Kylie Jenner and Jordyn Woods would come back together and prove to everyone that their bond is stronger than any scandal.
Though some of us still believe that to be true, the possibility of these friends rebuilding their relationship is no longer looking too promising.
