Joy-Anna Duggar Is Promoting Natural Supplements on Her Instagram: ‘It Helps With Boosting My Immune System’
While the Duggars got their start on television, they’re now taking over social media to share their lives. We’ve seen Jill and Jinger Duggar promote plenty of products and giveaways via their Instagram, and many viewers tune into Jessa’s family YouTube videos. Now, it looks like Joy-Anna is joining her sisters and promoting her own products online.
We know Joy-Anna is pregnant, and she’s been keeping her fans apprised of how this pregnancy is going for her. Now, it looks like she has a new product she’s hoping will boost her immune system during her pregnancy — and it’s natural supplements. Here’s what she’s sharing on her Instagram Story and what her critics are saying about it.
Joy-Anna Duggar shared her pregnancy news via Instagram and YouTube
Those who follow Joy-Anna Duggar and her husband, Austin Forsyth, know they were devasted when Joy-Anna miscarried their second child. And now that Joy-Anna is pregnant again, she’s happier than ever to give her son, Gideon, a sibling.
“Yes… it’s true! @austin4site and I are PREGNANT again!” Joy-Anna captioned her Instagram post of the announcement. “Ahhh!!! It’s been quite the crazy journey these last few months, but we are so thankful that mom and baby are healthy!”
Not only did the pregnant Duggar make her announcement on Instagram, but she also created a YouTube video. “Austin and I are expecting,” Joy-Anna tells the other Duggars in the beginning while at her parents’ home for a family night. “We’re due the second week of August.”
While Joy-Anna’s doctors warned her that her current pregnancy might not have been viable in the beginning, it seems everything’s going well now. And fans are excited that she’s taking them through the entire journey via video.
She’s now promoting supplements via her Instagram Story
It makes perfect sense that Joy-Anna is prioritizing her health currently. Not only is she pregnant, but she’s reaching the ending of her pregnancy during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. And she’s now promoting supplements via her Instagram Story that she claims really give her the health boost she needs. At the end of the promotion, she also includes a discount code.
“Wanted to share with you guys the vitamins I’ve been taking,” Joy-Anna tells her camera. “The last couple weeks, I’ve been trying to be really diligent about taking my vitamins every day, and I can tell that it helps with boosting my immune system and so I wanted to share with you guys.”
Joy-Anna then changed her camera angle to show all the various vitamins she’s taking. She has garlic soft gels that are odorless, which she notes she’s thankful for due to her morning sickness. And she also recommended omega-3s. “It’s gluten-free so it doesn’t contain nuts, milk, eggs, anything like that,” she added.
She also promoted black seed oil for its respiratory benefits. “I’m gonna have Austin start taking these because he has really bad asthma, and it’s supposed to help relieve some of that.”
Duggar critics are slamming her
Critics of the family aren’t too happy with Joy-Anna’s promotions. Not only is she clearly getting paid to promote the vitamins, but she also doesn’t appear to know too much about them.
“‘Celluar’ and ‘metobolic’ is just sad,” one Reddit user stated. “As a graduate of the School of the Dining Room Table, Joy probably can’t explain what cells are or how they function, or what metabolic health means.”
“I messaged the company about this sponsorship,” another wrote. “They claimed to not support the Duggar views and will pass my message onto management. I won’t be supporting this brand. Their answer wasn’t good enough. I don’t support hate.”
“This is why I try not to look at their accounts,” yet another added. “I see enough commercials on tv and ads on billboards.”
Some Duggars have found more success than others with their sponsorships. As for Joy-Anna, we’ll have to wait and see if she keeps this one up.
