‘JungkookWeLoveYou:’ BTS Fans React to Jungkook’s ‘Minor’ Car Accident
BTS member, Jungkook, was recently involved in a minor car accident in Seoul, South Korea. Though no major injuries were sustained by the victim or Jungkook, the K-pop idol took responsibility for the collision. Almost instantly, fans of the boy band took to social media, sharing their love for Jungkook. Here’s what the ARMY is saying about the accident on Twitter.

BTS member Jungkook was involved in a minor car accident
Last night, the youngest member of BTS, Jungkook, was in a car accident in the Hannam in the Yongsan District of Seoul. This was a minor car accident, between Jungkook’s Mercedes Benz and a taxi driver and the maknae took full responsibility for the collision.
According to a statement from Big Hit Entertainment, “the police have not closed this case yet, so we cannot reveal the exact details, but Jungkook was driving his car last week when he had a minor collision with another vehicle due to his own mistake. Both the victim and Jungkook did not sustain any major injuries. Right after the accident, Jungkook admitted to violating traffic rules and was investigated under proper procedures. We apologize again to the taxi driver.”

No one was injured in the crash, although Jungkook and the victim were both treated for minor bruises. Some reported that this was mostly caused by a traffic violation and Big Hit Entertainment has since apologized to the driver and for worrying fans.
However, some fans took to social media. ARMYs shared pictures of the BTS member on Twitter and started a hashtag trend. Even pictures on Jungkook on Instagram earned more purple hearts and comments since the accident.

Once BTS fans found out about Jungkook’s car accident, some took to social media, sharing their well wishes with the K-pop idol. One hashtag, #JungkookWeLoveYou, trended on Twitter, with over 50 thousand tweets from the BTS ARMY.
“I’m shook I just open my phone and this is the first thing I saw in all of my accounts. I’m thankful that Jungkook and the taxi driver is fine. Please be careful when you guys [are] in the rode, driving to avoid any accident. Be careful,” one Twitter user said, adding a purple heart emoji.
“As Namjoon said if we could only find words that are deeper than I love you to say to you. Stay strong, our Golden Maknae, we will always be here to support you. The members, your family, and all ARMYs are by your side,” wrote another Twitter user, along with the hashtag.
“‘Everyone makes mistakes. Just because you are an idol doesn’t mean you can’t make any mistakes, Army always loves you.’ You are so precious you don’t deserve those hates. We purple you,” said another Twitter user. More information regarding the car accident will presumably be released within the upcoming days.
