Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin Want Kids But This Has to Happen First
If you’re a long-time Belieber, it may be hard to fathom how Justin Bieber is 25 years old, married, and already thinking about kids. It seems like just yesterday, the young-faced YouTube talent was making tweens scream and sing along to his breakout hit “Baby.”
Recently, Bieber shared an Instagram post about his mental health struggles, his relationship, and his hopes for the future.
Bieber recently revealed he struggles with depression and anxiety
It may be hard for some to understand how someone who seemingly has it all can suffer from depression and anxiety. But that’s the thing about mental illness, it does not discriminate based on race, gender, or economic status.
A source revealed to People magazine that the singer’s struggles stem from achieving fame and success at such a young age, “He’s emotional and struggles a lot with the idea of fame — being followed, having his every move stalked by fans, cameras in his face. It all sets him off and he often feels like everyone is out to get him.”The source also made sure to note that his depression and anxiety have nothing to do with his recent marriage, noting that Bieber has “good help around him.”
In 2017, the Canadian pop star canceled numerous performances due to his mental health. In his latest Instagram post he wrote, “I was unhappy last tour and I don’t deserve that and you don’t deserve that, you pay money to come and have a lively energetic fun light and I was unable emotionally to give you that near the end of the tour.” In addition to canceling shows, the singer has also sought treatment for his depression.
The singer is prioritizing his mental health
In his Instagram post, Bieber acknowledges that fans are anxious for new music to be released. But the singer says that fans are just going to have to be patient. The most important thing to him is his mental health. He says, “I am now focused on repairing some of the deep rooted issues that I have as most of us have so that I don’t fall apart, so that I can sustain my marriage and be the father I want to be.”
This recent post is not the first time the star has talked about his mental health issues. Earlier this month he said that he was “struggling a lot.” In February he told Vogue how his mother struggled with depression and how it had been passed down to him.
Are the Biebers planning on expanding their family?
It’s obvious from Bieber’s Instagram post that the singer feels that fatherhood is in his future. But before he jumps in, he wants to make sure that he has properly addressed the issues that he is struggling with so that he can be the best father and husband he can be.
A source told People that the couple “loves the idea of being parents.” But they’re not making any plans for a certain time where they will be ready. The source says that the couple believes, “if it happens, it was God’s will,” adding, “They’re leaving the timing up to God.”
Religion has always been a bond between the couple, even though Bieber doesn’t really consider himself religious. So it comes as no surprise
As for those ultrasound pictures on Bieber’s Instagram account, those were just an April Fools joke!
