We love a good romance. Still, sometimes a paring gives us pause and makes us scratch our heads. Pete Davidson has been in the news as of late. Though he has a career as a comedian and Saturday Night Live cast member, people have been much more interested in Davidson’s personal life.
He had a whirlwind engagement with Ariana Grande that ended almost as quickly as it began. Then, the New York-born actor had a quick fling with Kate Beckinsale. Now, he’s been seen locking lips with model, Kaia Gerber.
Gerber is the daughter of Cindy Crawford, and at just 18-years-old, many people including her parents, are telling Gerber to run far away from Davidson.

Though the SNL star recently ended a romance with actress, Margaret Qualley, he wasted no time getting cozy with Gerber, despite their eight-year age difference.
It appears that the duo first met in June 2019 when they both walked in an Alexander Wang show. Since then, they’ve been spotted across the internet (and the globe) engaging in a ton of PDA and on various date nights.
The duo have been spotted at dinner in Malibu and hanging out at SNL afterparties. Gerber even celebrated Davidson’s 26th birthday with him by picking up a cake. However, their romance is making may of Gerbers fans shake their heads.

It’s no secret that being with Ariana Grande elevated Davidson’s stardom. Now, fans and friends of the supermodel are convinced he’s just using her for clout. “He’s basking in all the attention and loves putting on a show for the cameras – but everyone knows he’ll get bored or ruin things one way or another sooner than later, like he always does,” a source revealed to Radar Online. “Kaia’s talking about Pete being ‘The One’ and quietly telling friends she can see herself growing old with this guy and having his babies. It’s everyone’s worst nightmare scenario, especially her parents.”
Considering Davidson’s romantic track record, his struggles with substance abuse, and the couple’s age difference we can see why everyone is alarmed.

It’s one thing to not be a fan of your child’s significant other, but Gerber’s parents, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber have much stronger feelings about their daughter’s new romance.
According to Daily Mail — Crawford and Gerber were spotted having a heated conversation — presumably about Davidson outside of their daughter’s apartment. “He’s got scratched out eyes. His face was like scared as if someone or a camera was on him. His eyes are very… and he’s like freaking out,” Gerber declared. “How in the hell can he… be away… he needs help my God that’s crazy… private rehab, ummm, like in an hour.”
As of right now, it looks like Gerber’s parents are trying a hands-off approach. “I think they’re just hoping this could all fizzle out,’ a source told Page Six. “[Kaia’s] traveling and working constantly — how serious can [she and Davidson] get? Kaia can be slightly naive. But she’s a smart girl with a good head on her shoulders and a family who watches out for her.”
