Kate Middleton Loves Doing This Craft With Prince George and Princess Charlotte
Though she’s a full-time royal with a hectic schedule, Duchess Kate Middleton is also a hands-on mom. The duchess and her husband, Prince William are raising their three little ones, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis away from the spotlight as much as they can. Though the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have an extra set of hands on deck with their nanny Maria Borallo, the royal couple spends a ton of quality time with their kiddos. Recently Kate Middleton revealed that she loves doing crafts with Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
Kate Middleton loves doing papier mache with Prince George and Princess Charlotte
Duchess Kate Middleton has always been passionate about arts. In fact, she studied the History of Art when she was a student at the University of St Andrews. Now, the
She told onlookers, “It’s something I’m loving doing with the children – papier mache – I forgot how messy it is, but it’s really great.” In addition to papier mache –Prince George enjoys drawing. The duchess explained that the little prince found a piece of charcoal and began using it to draw. Prince George had told her, “Mummy I’m going to draw a picture. That’s what’s so nice you can do it from all around you.” Meanwhile, Princess Charlotte’s favorite craft is using beads to make bracelets.
Unfortunately, everyone in the Cambridge household isn’t so crafty. While helping with decorations for a charity’s Christmas party in 2018, Prince William admitted, “My son knows I’m useless at this. Catherine is the artsy one.”
Prince George and Princess Charlotte also love to cook
It looks like the pint-sized royals are keen to do anything that allows them to get their hands dirty. Matthew Kleiner-Mann, chief executive of the Ivy Learning Trust told reporters, “She was telling us how much her children love cooking and how they cook for her. They made cheesy pasta the other day. One stirs the flour, one puts the milk and butter in. And they make salads and stuff.”
When pasta isn’t on the menu –the duo also enjoy making home-made pizza. In Spring 2018, while working with volunteers to prepare meals for the Commonwealth Big Lunch just before she gave birth to Prince Louis, Duchess Kate Middleton explained, “They love it because they can get their hands messy.”
