Kate Middleton Is Taking Prince George On A Very Special Mother/Son Date

Kate Middleton spends a great deal of her time fulfilling her duties as the Duchess of Cambridge. From patronages to charity events and royal tours, the mom-of-three typically has a packed schedule during the day. However, in the evenings and on the weekends when she’s off royal duty, the duchess devotes all of her time to her three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

Middleton and her husband, Prince William are determined to shelter their children from the spotlight so that they can have as healthy of a childhood as possible. This is especially important for Prince George who will become King of England one day. In fact, Kate Middleton is currently planning a very special mother/son date for herself and Prince George.

Kate Middleton adores art –in fact, many of the formal pictures you see of the little Cambridges were taken by their mother. The Duchess of Cambridge has been a patron of the National Portrait Gallery since 2012, and during a recent visit to the gallery, she revealed that she is planning to return with Prince George for a mother/son date.

According to Hello!, forum member Savanna Achampong, recalled her conversation with the duchess. “She said she was thinking of bringing George here. She said that maybe she could speak to us so we could recommend what paintings they should come and see. She was really genuine and down to earth, really nice.”

Duchess Kate Middleton has always been passionate about arts. She studied the History of Art when she was a student at the University of St. Andrews. Now, the duchess is sharing her love for art with her eldest children– Prince George and Princess Charlotte. During a visit to Alperton Community School, Middleton revealed that she has been “loving” getting stuck into crafts with her children.

She told onlookers, “It’s something I’m loving doing with the children – papier mache – I forgot how messy it is, but it’s really great.” In addition to papier mache –Prince George enjoys drawing. The duchess explained that the little prince found a piece of charcoal and began using it to draw. Prince George had told her, “Mummy I’m going to draw a picture. That’s what’s so nice you can do it from all around you.” Meanwhile, Princess Charlotte’s favorite craft is using beads to make bracelets.

Kate Middleton is careful about spending special one-on-one time with all three of her children. Princess Charlotte adores ballet. Just before the Christmas holiday in 2018, the Duchess of Cambridge took her only daughter to a special pre-rehearsal performance of The Nutcracker at London’s famous Royal Opera House. An insider told People, “She looked so excited to be there and sat very still, watching the show. They were the only ones in the audience. It was very sweet.”

The duchess often takes her youngest child, Prince Louis to the Kensington Palace Gardens near their home where they look at the gorgeous landscape and the ducks. She was spotted strolling with the infant royal on Valentine’s Day 2019. Hello! reports that the duchess was dressed super casually in black skinny jeans, a black puffer jacket with white sleeves, and New Balance sneakers. Apparently, her hair down and she had on minimal makeup. An onlooker told Hello!, “Kate was in a great mood during the walk. [She] politely smiled at people who recognized her.”
