Kate Middleton’s Affordable Style: All Her Looks That Cost Less Than $100
Kate Middleton is royalty — and with royalty comes plenty of money. But just like any other mom, Kate loves a good bargain. And she’s proven time and time again that having money doesn’t mean she’s too good to wear something that’s more affordable. In fact, Kate has been spotted in several pieces that are less than $100. Here are some of her most affordable, double-digit looks.
Kate has made appearances in several Zara pieces between $50 and $90
Not everything Kate wears is affordable, but when it comes to her go-to bargain brands, Zara is at the top. Kate wore a classic blue Zara dress to a 2018 polo match. The dress had a price tag of $70. Kate watched William play in the charity polo match while her little ones ran around and enjoyed the warm, sunny weather. She looked like a picture-perfect mom in the outfit.
When Kate visited Farms for City Children back in May 2017, she was also spotted wearing a piece from Zara: Mid-rise biker jeans that retailed for $50 at the time (they’re no longer available). She wore another piece from the brand way back in 2013 — a printed blouse that only cost her $59. And yes, the royals do pay for their own clothing.
She sported $30 pants and a $55 shirt from Gap on two separate occasions
In addition to Zara, another one of Kate’s most trusted affordable brands is Gap. Gap has always been known for its high-quality, well-priced clothing, and Kate knows that, too. She wore a pair of patterned pants on a charity visit in England in 2016. The pants only retailed for $30. Two years before that, she was spotted in a checkered blouse from Gap, which retailed for $55. She wore it tucked under a blazer while she and Will visited a winery in New Zealand.
Even some of her maternity pieces were less than $100
Kate glowed in maternity outfits during all three of her pregnancies. But there was one brand in particular that people loved to see her in, since the clothes were so affordable: Seraphine. She wore a $59 maternity dress during her first official visit to New York City back in 2014 when she was pregnant with Charlotte. She trusted that brand during her pregnancy with George, too; she wore a pink dress just after giving birth in 2013.
Affordable Topshop pieces are also her go-to
Kate is also no stranger to Topshop. She wore a collared Topshop dress on a charity visit back in 2013; it retailed for $65. But even more known than that was the polka dot dress Kate wore when she and Will visited Warner Bros. Studios in 2013. For that appearance, Kate wore a $76 polka dot dress that fans absolutely loved; it sold out soon after she was spotted in it. The Duchess of Cambridge is one of the classiest women in the world, and her fashion choices are always top notch even — when they don’t break the bank.
